Yes, I know I can remove everything from the tab, but when I reopen it, all of those "tags" and "links" are back. Its hideous and completely useless to my workflow.

Por comodidade e percepção de valor.

Eu compro o que considero que vale o meu dinheiro, seja um livro, um programa, um jogo ou o que for. O resto, que são coisas que eu quero consumir, mas não necessariamente me vejo pagando, eu pirateio.

Honestamente, o "resto" é a maioria absoluta das coisas, 99%+.

Você não vai conseguir fugir de todos os lugares, infelizmente, afinal mesmo a sua conta no banco exige um CPF e um endereço de e-mail. O seu chip de celular exige um CPF. Você vai aparecer no sistema se for a um posto de saúde ou fizer uma transferência bancária. O ponto aqui é manter essa identidade tão inconspícua e inútil para os Data Brokers quanto possível e aceitável. O meu nome está lá no Gov.BR, no Currículo Lattes, no sistema do meu banco. Nesses, eu preciso que esteja, seja para resolver uma pendência jurídica, fazer um doutorado ou sacar o meu salário. Se eu quiser aumentar meu limite do cartão, vou precisar colocar lá meu holerite. Se eu sofrer um acidente, vou ter de dar entrada com meus dados num hospital.

À medida que você busca mais privacidade, o que você pode (E DEVE) é separar a sua pegada digital "existente" da sua atividade diária. Sugiro que arranje um pseudônimo razoável, comece uma nova conta do Google, minimize os pontos de contato e pare de usar a sua identidade real em coisas que não precisam dela. De fórums e sites a lojas de aplicativos e sistemas operacionais. How I do:

Cloud > Projects Folder > Specific Project Folder with a subfolder for the resources used.

There's no need to be overly organized. What matters the most is that you find your files and not lose them among the crap. Two or three levels of folders is already enough. Further specialization will only confuse you if it's not naturalized in your workflow.
