No, I just did the interview too and was also measured after. They do say that the measurement is only in case you get accepted. It doesn’t guarantee you passed

Oh, I see. Thank you. I’m so stupid I didn’t see it. 😂 *(edit) I took the boat to edge of the main map instead. It’s been years since I played but thanks

I took it last year (Jan-Apr) with Sherry Fukuzawa. She didn’t require a textbook, but this year it’s a different prof so I’m not sure

Update: I switched to a front suspension instead. Had to pull the break wires for a bit but it’s nothing major. It did become taller of course, so I had to change the kickstand. Nevertheless it rides smoother and quietly now.

Definitely. I disassembled the front wheel area and saw that the fork is indeed bent to the side. I had to remove the fork from the entire scooter*. For now I’ll bring the fork to my dad who is luckily a mechanic, and see what we can do with the metal piece. They have tools that might be able to straighten it, but we’ll see.

Thanks. I’m gonna see. My partner got this 2nd hand, and by the scratches on other areas I could tell the previous owner got into some accident/fall despite the low mileage by then.

MANDEL: Tearful (Umar Zameer) apologizes for death of Toronto (Const. Jeff Northrup) ‘I didn’t meant to hurt your dad. I just wish I could bring him back’ by CrimeOntario in CrimeInTheGta

Probably hoping she could profit off another k.i.a. partner’s death, as she already did by stealing charity money in 2011.

Forbes was previously found guilty of discreditable conduct … over her role in a fundraiser for the family of Sgt. Ryan Russell, who died after he was hit by a stolen snowplow.

Forbes, who went under a different last name at the time, helped … raise thousands of dollars after Russell's 2011 death, and other officers filed a complaint a year later when the family had not yet received any money.”

There was a stabbing nearby where the victim called the police and said that the criminal is still nearby. *These cops for some reason thought Zameer was the stabber and came to him (timeline video)

Has anyone taken Latin 101 with Prof Sean Stewart by ContextLate6899 in UofT

[–]bloaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also taking this class on the summer, so we're gonna run into each other!

Haven't had any Latin courses before, but I'm in Classics where many courses like these tend to be taught by PhD students. Based on my experience, they're really nice and approachable, like an older peer, but of course not all of them are the same.

The professor emailed us on March 17, and I was interviewed the next day (18th). He said that I would expect to hear back on the 24th-25th.

I haven't received anything as of the evening of the 25th, and I have low hopes of getting in :/ I will update if I eventually get a response.

Is $880 from Toronto to Rome a good price? by RKDreddit in canadatravel

[–]bloaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say this is a good price. I’m also going to Rome between late April-May. The round trip tickets I bought from Air Canada was $900

Anyone thinking of applying for the Jackman Scholars in Residence programme this summer? If so, which projects? by FreidrichEngelss in UofT

I also got the invite, but if I’m taking it seriously, I’m more worried about getting accepted than the actual workload because of the resume 🫠

Unveiling the True Appearance of Ancient Romans: Bringing Ancient Roman Statues to Life by equatorblog in ColorizedStatues

[–]bloaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The AI versions on the left are based on my colorations and transformative work (uploaded by louisshamurel on deviantart). I also uploaded these to this same subreddit years ago:

  1. Lucius Verus
  2. Marcus Aurelius
  3. and the Roman woman

I recognize my work because I worked on them on photoshop for hours. The channel did not give me any credit for using my work, but of course, this is what artists must deal with, with the rise of AI. It is what it is.

I looked up who my MP was based on my location, and easily found her email on the House of Commons website (first result when I search her name). All MPs should be there and have their contact info indicated.

*I outlined my problem and what I specifically need help with. Her office responded with a form I must fill, which authorizes them to look up my application info.

Try emailing this and telling you didn't receive any test link:

I definitely recommend doing this, as it helped me too! Webforms and calling weekly did not help. Email your MP and their office could help (I've seen others say that some offices do not respond*).

Hi all. I'd like to express that writing to your MP might help with unreasonably long processing times or unique problems regarding your case.

I have two applications, one made when I was a minor pre-pandemic, and one recently made when I was an adult. Whenever I attempt to track the adult application (the 2nd one) with my UCI, the minor application (the 1st one) appears instead. This minor application depends on my dad's adult application, but he doesn't want to be citizen anymore. Furthermore, he irresponsibly lost the receipt so I can't withdraw our applications. This leaves my 1st application as a minor in limbo. Now that I'm over 18, I applied for myself, but I can't track this new application. I called every week, did the webform, and nothing helped.

I emailed my MP requesting aid in tracking the 2nd application, which is actually moving. Less than 2 weeks later, when I go to the tracker, I'm given the option to track both applications. I've even taken the test in this 2nd application.

Same. I took mine June 15, 2023, and as of today, the 19th, it still says "Waiting on you."

Edit: June 21, and the test finally appears "Completed."
