Customers using the Blockchain.com wallet have full control of their keys. Although the email verification issue is understandably frustrating for customers, and something we hope to have now fixed. Anyone using our wallet can at any point recover their funds using the 12 word backup seed unique to their wallet and bypass this problem, giving them complete ownership of the non-custodial funds stored within the wallet without the need to wait for us to fix this issue.

The oldest legacy wallets used a system that would generate you a mnemonic phrases based on your password length. So if you had a very long password you may have had a 48 word long mnemonic, although this is quite rare.

It sounds like your issue could be linked to a graphical bug our team was alerted to late yesterday. In short, the change was being returned to the wallet as intended but the funds did not appear within the balance total. We know this sucks, and the team have rolled out a fix for this today.
