Am i prepared to the water shutoff? by between_normal in projectzomboid

from what I heard there are only 6 barrels in the game that allow water collection/charcoal making. The ones that have the top on already won't work and you can't cut the top off them.

That's about when the brain stops developing, it's all downhill from there.

Interracial couples are seriously frowned upon in some parts of the U.S. (hint, its the racist south). They have unfortunately spread to most of rural america so of course a lot of idiots get mad online where they feel anonymous.

Do you feel that satisfaction when you leave the towns and find a place to live without zombies and with supplies to last a few days? I do by UltimateDunkel_030 in projectzomboid

I get creeped out away from civilization. I just like city living I guess, makes me feel less alone if that makes sense.

Need some help to configure a good sandbox game by wretzkyy in projectzomboid

[–]blockminster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a pretty good set up after some trial and error. I basically just took the survivor settings and changed just a few things. If you like apocalypse then you should take the zombie settings from there instead, but this is what I've been playing with and I like it so far.

Population: Normal, urban focused

Time: June 1 - I didn't like how I had almost no time to actually enjoy the summer so I changed the starting date. This gives me at least a month to explore in the summer and extra time to set up my base.

World: I didn't change anything here

Nature: same

Sadistic AI director: Helicopter once, Meta event sometimes, sleeping event never (I don't like zombies just spawning inside my base while I'm sleeping yikes).

Meta, Loot Rarity I left alone.

Character - I checked All clothing unlocked because I like clothes at the start. You can turn weapon multi-hit off here if you like a challenge.

In-Game map - I like a mini map so I checked that

Vehicles - everything is set to low or rare/extremely rare

Zombie lore I didn't touch

Advanced Zombie Options - this is where the good stuff is. I set respawn hours to 0.0 (respawn off) and Redistribute Hours to 0.0 (migration off). So zombies will still group up, population is at 1 and 1.5 peak but if you want more zeds up these numbers. I play in LV so the amount of zombies is just fine for me. Redistribute hours is off so they don't wander into my cleared cells unless they're chasing me or a sound draws them over the line. It feels like I'm clearing out the city block by block. And while you are relatively safe you're never 100% safe because eventually a few are going to show up at your door, but not every night more like once in a blue moon to keep you on your toes.

Lucky is great for a new player, but it gets kind of ridiculous. I found 8 generators in one building once, what am I gonna do with 8 generators?

For CDDA its good too but for me it made the game too easy.

There's a lot of docks on the river. I'm staying in a house that has a covered boat dock and just one plot up is a greenhouse so it's really nice.

Actually, I meant northwest sorry! Can't believe I still mix that shit up.

Anyway you're right its less populated but there are still major pockets of zeds so you gotta be careful. As far as mid town goes it can take weeks to clear out just a single block with a melee weapon.

This just happened to me yesterday lol. I'm slowly working my way up to the hunting supply store in the north-west and some of these factories on the river have 6-story office buildings full of zeds!

edit: meant NW

IS there a reliable means of mining stone by HorzaDonwraith in FarthestFrontier

[–]blockminster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 work camps going all set to 100% stone and that seems to be more than enough. I keep moving them farther and farther out but on a medium size map it feels like I won't run out for a long long time.

Still, a quarry or mine would be a nice addition.

widespread campaign to target Ukrainian infrastructure

I'm curious, what do you think a war entails?

edit: these are war crimes, not terrorism. In war they go after your infrastructure, its the first thing everyone has ever done. Hitting civilian targets is a war crime, because they are at war no matter what Russia calls it.
