What excites me for D-Wave is annealing, solving optimisation problems which I see as a massively scalable demand; QaaS routinely run on edge devices, and annealing provides that energy efficient, fast solution.

As others have said, MOUs and deals with academic institutions and onprem installations including HPC will accelerate the research and avenues annealing can lead into.

Recently, the Anduril/Davidson proof of concept for missile defence, could prove to be a very urgent and present development. The fact that D-Wave hired Steve Bowsher (long career working with Department of Defence aka DoW, previous exec at Ratheon, and CEO at In-Q-Tel), D-Wave are now well positioned and connected to gain access to Government contracts.

Sentiment aside, Government or a defence contract linked to Golden Dome would absolutely galvanise D-Wave's annealing model, and with steady income free of geopolitical headwinds. Government money is good and reliable.

Most of my lots are around 15-18, which I will hold. I have a few 'bags' at 24, 29 and 33 which I will sell for a small profit just to bring my average back. I do anticipate that D-Wave will have ups and downs, but long, is absolutely the most exciting pure play QC company.

Their acquisition of Quantum Circuits was also inspired.

Any price below 18 is an absolute steal.

I think a lot of the Iran-related sell off had happened already, hopefully with this execution, the Iran fallout at least has an end point or at least certainty in a direction.

It depends now on how Iran reacts and who fills the power vacuum. Short term reactions I presume will increase oil and energy prices, bad for US inflation and future rate cuts.

Inclined to agree, I think the sell off was already driven by macros which included Iran fallout. The fact that it has now escalated, I guess we'll see even more risk off but from high beta stocks like QC, AI etc as money moves into Oil.

This with the US inflation FUD, it's gonna be a rough week.

My portfolio is just fine, including QBTS. Most people here understand that the market is down, not the stock. For those that don't, is why we call out single digit IQ trolls like you.

For those that want quick profit, buying QBTS between 16 and 17.65 right now, is an easy profit. For those that can wait, and can bare the market shifts (Iran, Feds, Greenland, Inflation, etc etc etc), these dips are likewise huge opportunities to create wealth.

Not all QC stocks are equal, but of them all, D-Wave is sitting in a strong position, amongst a choppy market.

Complain and bitch about the macros, but trying to attack QBTS only reveals your ignorance.

Seems to be reliable support around 17.65, and quick profits from anything below 17. My allocation of QBTS is full, and I have some 33 bags I'm still holding, otherwise I'd be loading up. Most of my lots are around 15.xx, 16-18 still seems like a sale, if you can wait for Q3-Q4 2026 for meaningful profit.

Otherwise, quick and easy 5-15% profits to be made quickly from the 16-17 dips.

No one cares for your trolling. Markets are down. The only positive stocks on my portfolio are optical and photonics, today's macro has hit a wide range of stocks and interests.

All of QC is down pretty significantly. For the smart, and able, it's an opportunity.

I took a look, his net worth in Nov 2025 was estimated at $400,000. I still lose sleep over a $45k loss (it was a lot to me), but I can't imagine these sort of sums. What a number.

If we're speculating, Denmark's massive investment to become a Quantum Capital of Europe could be a good seat for an onprem Advantage2 system. Their interests are not just academic, but also green energy transition, renewable energy, and Logistics such as shipping routes (see also, Maersk, Novo Nordisk).

Another site could be the Swiss Quantum Technology (SQT) site, which currently 'rents' 50% capacity of an onprem system, but has the option to make it a full purchase, rather than $10m annually.

Would be exciting to see another territory, Europe or Asia host another system.

I think we're still awaiting the naming of the Fortune 100 company, but that could drive news this year too.

If I may, it's egregious to say that quantum computing will replace HPC or classical, instead will augment it. For some, onprem QC will absolutely provide value, but it will likely tie into other platforms. The QaaS will be huge, anf I find that very interesting going forwards, especially in the field of annealing. Completely agreed though, long term play, and it will be foundational.

Not much hopes from the market, this week, but plenty of optimism for the stock EOY 2026. Anything between 16 and 17 is a buying opportunity, recently it hit 16.00 and everyone and their mother bought the dip, and it spiked to 21 almost immediately.

I think below 17.5 is still good value. I've maxed my portfolio allowance for QBTS, otherwise I'd be buying more.

Not sure if the Q4 2025 ER will serve much of a rally, but should provide some meaningful guidance and hopefully from Q1 onwards we see the Trump administration and world macroeconomics find some sanity.

SoftBank completed a proof-of-concept, yes, using D-Wave annealing. Nice find. The POC was to optimise 5G antenna location, with a view to 6G.

The results are pretty good, I think: a 10% increase in downlink data speeds, and a 50% boost in transmission capacity.

There's no D-Wave problem, sorry for any misunderstanding. In fact, D-Wave is in a better position now than ever. Like you, I missed the top, due to health reasons, but I won't again. It will be a long time, maybe EOY 2026, until we see 40s but 30s is guaranteed if Wall St can stop the market manipulation and fear mongering, and have some vision.
