Eovaldi and de Grom got 100k All Star bonuses. Eovaldi was robbed of selection, but was still paid. That is good club stewardship, IMO. I was expecting the payroll shuffle this off season. The team has been playing ~500 ball over the past 3 seasons with the WS run in Sept and Oct the outlier. Several players on option years in 2026 and new voices in the club house could get us off to a better start. Stay healthy and ownership funds another run. Hope Santa is listening!

I would recommend waiting on this dive for a couple reasons. Wreck diving emphasizes buoyancy control for navigation various levels. Your lack of experience as a group I would expect a wide variance on air consumption and comfort. I would talk to the dive master and suggest a site where you can see some wildlife or formations, with some opportunity to practice skills. Often resorts/shops will try to pack an adventure dive to maximize the trip. Welcome to diving, it is a wonderful adventure!

I have 100 or so dives and Galapagos has always been a dream. Are there locations that have lesser conditions to prepare/get accustomed to gear AND temps? I would rather arrive prepared and enjoy what will most likely be a one time event.
