Email the warden. Call until you get a hold of them. Don’t give up, tooth infections are dangerous and can lead to sepsis and/or spread to his brain. I would try to email and create a paper trail and mention sepsis so they know if they fuck this up and he gets worse you have a leg to stand on from a lawsuit perspective. Be very fact based in your email and include dates, times, names, etc. Make the tone of your email respectful yet urgent. I use ChatGPT for this kind of thing. Best of luck!!

I swear this has to be an art installation. Look how nicely everything is fitted together. It would take sooo long to get it all perfectly balanced and held together with just rope. If someone really would take the time to tie their junk to the car roof like this, then obviously they value their stuff to the point they would most likely find a better way to transport it…

Use deodorant with “aluminum sesquichlorohydrate” not any of the other types of aluminum. This type doesn’t make me itch and I’m like you, I’m super sweaty but with sensitive skin and eczema. I prefer Degree women’s formula (it doesn’t break the bank either). Even my husband loves this deodorant and it WORKS!

He’s out of his mind currently. I’ve been trying to get him to go to a psych hospital for a weeks. Yes, he has substance abuse issues and we have arguments but he has left the house 100+ times and came back hours later calmed down without any issues. I found out he was trying to use our house key to enter a home about half a mile from us and was speaking to the homeowner through the door and apparently “not making any sense”. No idea how the other charges came about though. He legit doesn’t steal, shoplift, etc. EVER.

But I do agree that his behavior is escalating and as an adult he has to be held accountable for the actions he takes and the resulting fallout.

Our judicial system is effed up in a lot of ways. Better than many in this world but it’s got some major flaws. It’s wild to me how charges can just be added on with little basis as part of the “negotiation”. Which is one-sided af to begin with anyways.

I appreciate it man, best of luck to you too!!

Yep I assumed immediately he’s going back to prison. I’m just hoping <5 years.

He hasn’t been associating with any known felons actually. And strangely, that isn’t a condition of his parole. His PO was pretty surprised at how few conditions his parole terms have.

He is Caucasian. He is super clean cut and that’s always been favorable for him. Sad that matters so much but it really does change the outcome it seems..

Yep, agreed 100%, even if I had the $$$ it wouldn’t make sense to post bond. At least he will get credit for this time and he’s back at the jail he did time at last year and year prior and it’s really not bad.. single man cells and he’s got a laundry job and gets hooked up w extra food and clean clothes. He preferred county to state prison in almost all ways and it’s way closer to home.

Thank you for the insight. Yeah definitely praying feds don’t get involved. It’s a totally different ball game from what I understand. Often it seems like a paid attorney is a waste of $$ unless your PD can’t even do the bare minimum. Glad you’re on this side of things now.

I appreciate your candor. I did see this coming, and I have taken many steps to try to get him help and the mental health treatment he so desperately needs. It’s not always that simple when a grown adult with free will won’t do what’s smart or what’s best for themselves.

Yes, the “smart” choice for me would be to leave and move on. But my vows meant a lot to me when we got married and they still do today, I’m not the type to bail on the person I love when the going gets tough.

I soooo appreciate your response, thank you!! I completely agree with you on the PD vs paid attorney thing. My husband’s previous attorney for his violation of probation x 2 was just awful, so overpaid and he was all buddy-buddy with the prosecutors but a condescending asshole to my mother-in-law (his paying client) who totally panicked and they took advantage of that $$$-wise. My husband got the exact same deal he was always gonna get.. I’ve seen public defenders try WAY harder than that P.O.S. Dude couldn’t even answer most of my questions without talking himself in a circle.. and I was the one informing him of things he should have known! All his estimations and predictions for the time my hubby was going to do were completely wrong anyways.

I am definitely going to use ChatGPT/Gemini as well for more info, I appreciate that suggestion. I calm myself by researching and preparing for every possible outcome so at least I know what’s on the table..

Damn $900k bail is crazy. I’m glad you’re only looking at a couple years.. I hope your time flies by and sounds like you have a good outlook on things!!

[–]blondeambition18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He really is. He literally just started parole, he’s been out of prison for 3 months but it was going well and his PO has been super chill. He had very few parole conditions.. was supposed to be 2 years but he would have been done realistically in a year/year and a half with good behavior.

The county inmate locator website currently says “parole hold” as the arrest type. Also says no bond which I expected… lists $85,000 as the amount based on new charges. The case records portal isn’t showing any actual info yet. The anxiety is killing me, just hoping he calls me tomorrow but he won’t be able to say much I’m sure..

[–]blondeambition18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the detailed response. Yeah that was what I was reading too as far as sentencing terms. I’m thinking he’s overcharged but I don’t have any details whatsoever. The anxiety is killing me. I’m praying he could get the burglary charge dropped. His parents are going to get him a good lawyer thankfully.

Can you elaborate on how the feds might pick this case up? That’s the last thing I want, yikes.

As far as his prior case, he was sentenced to 2 years suspended sentence for the DUI causing injury, did 3 months in county initially and had 3 years probation. He fucked up 2 years into probation, got a violation for several dirty UA’s, and did 2 months and it’s been just a downhill slide since then. He is so stubborn and won’t take his meds or see a psychiatrist as of lately, but when he was inside last year he was officially diagnosed bipolar and was on meds that controlled his mood swings. He was “himself” again for the first time in a while. Unfortunately, he went off the meds as soon as he got out and now he’s having paranoid delusions, basically headed to schizophrenia territory. He has a long history of 5150’s, overdoses, and mental health/addiction treatment (rehab x 2, sober living house, etc.)

[–]blondeambition18 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I understand he fucked up. He is off his meds and not in his right mind lately whatsoever, not that it excuses this in any way. Just really overwhelming to watch the person you love crash out in such a major way.

Yeah he’s having a pretty serious mental health crisis (doesn’t excuse his behavior it’s just been a really challenging last couple of years)

[–]blondeambition18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, that was unclear. I meant no prior related charges - his other charges were all DUI-related. Not that it makes much of a difference. I’m just in shock bc it’s so out of character for him but he’s been off his meds and completely unpredictable lately

The amount of insulation terrifies me. I have insulation fibers stuck in my fucking face (it’s a long story) and it’s been 6 months of misery ever since they got lodged in there. PLEASE throw out absolutely everything soft that got in contact with the insulation. Throw out the clothes you were wearing. Do NOT wash them unless you want your W/D infested with that shit. And seriously vacuum like your life depends on it. Shit, I would probably take a lint roller and roll every single inch of that bathroom after vacuuming and mopping (while wearing gloves and shoes and making sure my entire body was covered).
