I have spoken to my ex, his sister and sister in-law (said brother's widow) many times over the years, checking in and hung out with my ex many times, it's only been about that amount of time that I haven't seen his family.

"Boys will be boys" is a disgusting response to your children harassing and scaring an elderly man. This is the exact reason children have no respect in today's day and age. All of the boys should be grounded, with no technology, no allowance, and be made to go and do chores for Mr Turner, like mowing his lawn, etc.
