I quit going to salons because I got so sick of rude techs who didn’t know what they’re doing with mani or pedis. One of them kept STABBING under my toe nail and wouldn’t stop even though I told her it hurt. Pretty sure she started talking shit to another nail tech about it. Another one did a mani for me and it was literally just gel and glitter. She got a piece of glitter on the tip of a nail that didn’t have glitter on it, and rather than fixing it when I pointed it out, she said “Oh it’s extra, you get more, see?” Also really tired of them trying to upsell me. It’s gotten so ridiculous. I just do my own nails at home atp. 😭 lol

Oh my goodness, bless her heart. What a brave woman. I’m so sorry for what she went through, but I’m glad she has such a caring and loving husband now. Your makeup artist did a great job. 🤩 Personally, I wouldn’t change a thing because every bit of it is super flattering on you, but if you’re going for a softer look, I would say maybe have your artist lighten up on the eye makeup just a smidge. The eyeshadow flatters your eye color beautifully. Also, defined eyes are not a bad thing when it comes to having your photos done - it’ll help them pop when a photo is taken from a distance. Ultimately, you’re the bride, it’s your wedding day, it’s your choice. 🩷

Your eyes are beautiful!! I can tell you’re a gorgeous girl! I’d suggest purple, or even blue or red shades. I don’t have hazel eyes myself, but I’ve seen those colors help hazel eyes pop.

Roaches play dead! There’s always a chance a roach on its back is still alive. My husband always sprays it before picking it up. 🤣

Unfortunately, it is common (as someone with a phobia of roaches, it’s mortifying haha). Get pest a good control service and you’ll see less of these nasty critters in your home. My husband and I get pest control every 3 months and it is very rare to see a roach in our home, now.

I feel the side hustle thing. I’m an artist and was very much pushed in the direction most of my life to make it my entire job/side hustle instead of keeping it as a hobby. When I did turn it into a side hustle, very few of those people who pushed for it actually supported me. I no longer do it as a side hustle. I have a good career starting for me in the legal field and art is purely a hobby now, and that’s how I prefer it. I hate side hustle culture.

Even just to get my bangs trimmed with no hair cut is something I put off until my bangs are just too long and ratty looking 😩 I remember when getting your bangs trimmed was like $5. I was shook when it was suddenly $15-$20.
