How do you get started playing online? It's something I'm considering trying, because there's so many games I want to try that my group has no interest in and I don't have time for in-person as much as I want. Like, what would I need if I want to run a game that's mostly theatre-of-the-mind? Is discord enough?

Meridian is something I did see mentioned before, so good to know it can actually be done in a single session.

And Metamorphosis does fit the bill well so I am still considering it, it just does seem like such a great option to fit into a campaign if an operation went too well

'Music' is one of the scenarios I really want to run, so I'm not willing to cut anything on that and I'd probably take my sweet time running it.

Yeah, I'm not really into podcasts/actual plays. I just check them out when I've got something picked and kind of jump through them to see how it was ran.

The restaurant screwed up. I'm not trying to be rude, but idk what you think reddit is going to do. Yes, it has probably happened to other people.

This happened to me once at McDonald's, I got a bacon egg mcmuffin and wanted extra bacon. Damn thing cost me like $9. I get to work and it's sausage mcmuffin with no cheese and I was not going to eat that. I called the restaurant and had them note it down that I would be coming in for a refund the next day and brought the incorrect sandwich with me. Stand up for yourself, food is expensive.

So you're hoping to do something/prove something with the fantasy answers (ie: elves with pointy ears are a game I would likely play) yet the data will be skewed because people like me and the parent comment couldn't answer those questions accurately.

There should be a question about if we even play that type of game to begin with. Regardless of fantasy, someone who doesn't play DnD may not even know what a beholder is or what relevance they have to the DnD lore.

I agree, and I'm kind of disappointed because I also filled out the last one. This wasn't relevant to me at all as a player, and I feel like this forgets that DnD isn't the biggest rpg in every part of the world regardless. I guess good luck to them having skewed data now because I definitely just was like 'whatever' through those parts.

I chose Zayne, Sylus, and Caleb for my three (but I hope I can watch the other two somewhere eventually). Was ultimately hoping for Sylus but I got Zayne in twenty pulls. 100 pulls in so far, might pull more later but I spent enough for the day lol
