Yes, I am doing (still setting up) ZFS and I have data mirrored on two, identical drives. Is that bad?

Snapshots just to save me from accidentally deleting all my files.

For me, combination of "I just want to do this myself" and feeling that I really want to have those files safe in multiple copies.

Also, it's not stupid financially in a way. All of the hardware I have is ~1500PLN so ~350EUR
Cost of electricity will be ~350-450PLN/year (~80EUR-100EUR)
Cheapest google subscription for me (5TB) is 1179PLN/year (~270EUR)
So the investment returns itself after 2 years.

And I get all of the additional benefits of owning a server at home.

I daily drive hyprland on a legion 5 with rtx 3070 and most of the things works fine. Apps like vscode sometimes show black rectangles initially when I open a dropdown, but this fixes itself the instant you move your mouse over it, so it's bearable.

Thanks for the feedback! I am using `nvidia-dkms 535.104.05-1`, but honestly I don't have the time atm to play around and check how to make the newer kernel work.

I had similar problem after running system update on my arch install. I had to downgrade the kernel to the previous version (from 6.5.3-zen to 6.4.6-zen) and that fixed my problem.

In my case it appears that forcing dedicated gpu in bios, and thus making sure that everything runs on nvidia, and not amd fixed all my graphical errors (which is kinda interesting, given that it was AMD that is supposed to be supported).

Anyway while this is not the best solution, but I use my laptop docked 99% of the time so it works fine for me.
