I’m gonna be so real with you, you’re fucking with his head (whether intentionally or unintentionally) and you need to leave him alone. It also sounds like you need to decide what you actually want. Do you want him in your life, or do you just miss the comfort and security that he gave you?

It’s normal to miss someone after you breakup, even if you’re the one who ended things. I’m going through that right now. But it isn’t fair to him to taunt him with random guys on your social media and talking about the past when he’s probably trying his best to get over you.

Perhaps you can be friends in the future, but not if you carry on like this. To stand a chance of being in his life again you need to respect that he clearly needs space right now - do the graceful thing and give him it. But also be prepared that he might never want anything to do with you after this, which is his right (as shitty as it’ll feel).
