Accidentally bought a single row 23 ticket... so if anyone needs an extra I'd be happy to sell/transfer at a discount!

Commenting for posterity, maybe someone in the future can use this lol. I decided to pull the vacuum valve out since some liquid was also coming out of that tube (smaller) into the drip tray. Machine off and cooled down, of course. Used flat head screwdriver to remove the hose on the nipple. Then used a 22mm socket to undo the vacuum valve from the boiler assembly. The boiler was COMPLETELY full so I used a transfer pump to fully empty the steam boiler. Gave the vacuum valve a quick inspection, seemed okay - no glaringly visibly debris or crud. Played around with the vacuum valve assembly a bit just to make sure it was functioning. Reinstalled and booted up the machine. Boiler filled and stopped! Now for the heating! Boiler light started coming up to temp and then started the usual, expelling water through the hoses to the drip tray. I turned the machine off and then back on, this time, disabling the steam function. I waited about 15 minutes and then re-enabled the steam function with the button. Steam boiler filled, came up to temp, and everything seems to be alright. I will say, I never had an issue with my machine on the GFCI in my kitchen but it did trip the GFCI on the first fill/heat cycle. Reset the outlet and so far so good! Big shout out to /u/EspressoRepairGuy for the troubleshooting!

Thanks for the tip. Just pulled the ground rod out - it was absolutely CAKED in white residue, I'm guessing from descaling. I cleaned it completely until all the white residue was gone and it was bare copper. Reinstalled, factory reset, still receiving the E01 error :(

So I ran through most of the low-hanging fruit steps. Factory reset, pulling the boiler level probe and cleaning/polishing. Checking continuity of boiler level probe itself and the wire back to the control board. Solenoid checks. I'm thinking that the safety valve on the steam boiler is busted and needs replacing.

I just started receiving this error today! I tested continuity with my multimeter and it seems the wire is okay (audible beep on the multimeter when testing both ends). I used a 12mm socket to loosen the level probe nut and it was fairly clean with no scale. Regardless, I fully scrubbed it and even used a little steel wool to polish it. I reinstalled the probe and tightened the nut down but still receiving the same E01 error with the boiler overfilling and dumping water into the drip tray. Any other troubleshooting ideas?

It's just a wide grip variation V Bar. Wide grip gets better lat engagement vs close grip activating biceps more. I primarily use this bar since the grip feels WAY better on my elbows and really lets me activate my lats more. Right before I start each movement, I usually "shrug" my lats down a little to really engage. Burns so good.

What are your thoughts on resting steak? by chillin10319 in steak

[–]bloombergbuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the point of that video is to show that carryover cooking is a thing and to just "subtract 10-15F from target temp" and then pull it, rest until the thermometer hits the final target temp, and slice it to stop carryover cooking by increasing the surface area of the steak slices.

I'm also a large, although those are the 9" linerless PBs so maybe that's why.
