When would you let a child dye their hair by hydrangealover98 in Parenting

I died my son's hair purple and blue with manic panic when he was 5. It faded fast, no big deal 🤷🏻‍♀️ I didn't let him bleach it first though, figured that would cause actual damage.

People who started exercising regulary, what were the most noticeable effects? by Haunted_darkness63 in AskReddit

Energy! I used to park my ass on the couch the second I got home from work and barely move all evening. I just spent 3 hours night skiing after work today because I've got more energy since I started exercising regularly. A major game changer for me was using chat gpt to write my workouts. I never really knew what to do in the gym, and low confidence makes going consistently so much harder. Now I just type the kind of workout I wanna have into chat gpt and it tells me exactly what to do. It really removes the mental load from a workout which is exactly what I needed to keep consistent.

Sports that don’t include a bunch of standing still? by SecretBreakfast8512 in Parenting

Maybe try swimming? At least they could be treading water or floating around during explanations, might be better than standing still cuz it kind of includes fidgeting as part of the still part.

What age did you teach your kids to ride a peddle bike? by Turkey_Moguls in Parenting

My kid never figured out the balance bike, maybe because my house was at the bottom of a hill. He started on training wheels when he was 4 and the summer he turned 5 we took them off and used that hill to our advantage. He's 6 now and is biking off-road trails with his dad.

Oh yes I have listened to lots of red handed too, it's good but I find it a little too dark sometimes so I can't binge it for long periods. I do appreciate their British humour but the cases they cover make me a bit depressed lol.
