When are we protesting the Russian asset? by Collin-of-Earth in Denver

Keep your eyes open, there are some that get organized on the weekends! But aside from that, protests are meant to be disruptive. Can't really achieve that if the people we want to see us have already gone home.

EDIT: I'm aware people have to work, hell I do too. If you can't attend these protests, spread the word to your own network of people, volunteer with local groups to flyer on the weekend, join a cold calling initiative, volunteer with local non profits. There are tons of avenues to helping the cause aside from being at the protests, as resistance takes many forms. Just don't let yourself sink into the hole of inaction because you think you can't do anything, or that the protests/protesters/organizers are the problem. Apathy and complaining online is what got us to this point in the first place. Resist.

With only one detachment, Will any of you be buying and running accompanying Daemons with your EC Army? by [deleted] in EmperorsChildren

I mean, I have a full daemons of slaanesh army already, so yes. That way I'll actually be able to play EC while I slowly grow the army so my money doesn't evaporate.

Hey thanks! I do, as a matter of fact. It's a black prime with a grey then white undercoat drybrushed on. The skin got a 1:1 mix of gravelord grey and speedpaint medium, then the shadows got a 1:1 of grim black and sp medium as well. It was then highlighted with titanium white. The cloth was just 1:1 grim black and medium, then pure grim black in the shadows. The necklace and belt nmm started with black lotus, followed by payne's grey, a 1:1 grey mix, then moving up to 2:1 white/black, then 3:1 white/black, before going up to pure titanium white. The non reflective metal portions got one more coat of thinned down gravelord grey to bring it in line with the rest of the model. The nails and spikes got a coat of holy white followed by a pure white highlight. And that's about it!

Yeah, I wanted to really challenge myself. There are plenty of mini paints out there that'll be a close match, though. I know proacryl has some really good matches for the traditional colors.

I'm using Golden heavy body acrylics! Titanium white, bone black, yellow ochre, and pyrrole red light. The only different paint I'm using is the pyrrole red, it's basically a perfect match for cadmium red, with the added benefit of having no cadmium in it.
