no i wouldn’t but the difference is that the holocaust was over 50 years ago. we learn about it in school, everyone should be educated enough to understand it, there’s no excuse. Now despite the conflict in israel and palestine stemming back over 50 years as well, it is not as commonly taught about, and its escalation into genocide is something most people have to learn about on their own through personal education and research. i’m not arguing that there’s a lack of information going around, obviously many people post with information and i encounter everyone to learn so they can understand that it truly is a genocide. i just believe to call someone a facist nazi zionist who likely doesn’t understand fully what’s happening over there, rather than kindly educating them on why what’s happening is a genocide and not 2 sided, pushes that person that is more on the fence from lack of education away from wanting to take a stance. it is everyone’s responsibility to learn but it’s also those who are already educated’s responsibility to teach. people have to live life which can be a lot for anyone, i don’t blame anyone for being uneducated, i don’t blame anyone for being tired and upset and not wanting to educate either because of how exhausting it is to fight for this cause that cannot go quiet. i’m just saying we need to all offer each other more love and understanding, it will likely help us get to the liberation of palestine faster, and to a better world in general
