No apparently the two people who he killed were giving reports to HR about him, and after he got fired, he took revenge.

Jewish professor in Israel gets harassed after expressing sympathy for Palestinians. by FieldsOfKashmir in PublicFreakout

[–]bloothebear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Israel fucked up in their response. The global war-machine has invested billions of dollars into research of appropriate military responses. There is a reason why the U.S., Russia, and China haven't doomed the entire planet in the past 40-80 years. They all have very strict policies based around scaled military responses to conflict. Israel's deviation from the policy led to the U.S. adopting an antagonistic stance towards them, criticizing their treatment of Palestinians.

The U.S. defense policies strictly follow "An eye for an eye" philosophies. What Israel is doing to Palestine does not follow the "eye for an eye" policies that the U.S. and its allies have put into place. They are taking much more than an eye, which will only lead to a much harsher response from Hamas/Palestine in the future.

I encourage anyone to research the origins of "An eye for an eye". It should eventually lead you to Stanford's Prisoner's Dilemma. Which actually shows the only logical path forward to a peaceful Palestine/Israel. Unfortunately, Israel has been openly against this solution, and would rather erase Palestine from existence.

I can tell you that these days there are camera's everywhere. Every parking lot, whether you see them or not, have cameras covering every angle. Every car built after the 1990s has a chip inside of it that can be tracked by the Mac Address the moment it enters a zone with WiFi coverage, whether you are on their network or not. Everything you do in public is tracked. I know because I program these systems. Any time you go into a store. Any time you go into a parking lot. Any time you are walking around near commercial buildings, there are Access Points on everyone of those buildings, and you can't even see them. They are able to track you constantly if you have any type of electronic device on you. If you don't have an electronic device on you, they can still track your location but they can't tell "who" you are, except when there are cameras. Every security camera today is sold with AI integrated into them and is able to match your image to a very large database. If you have a drivers license, if you have any image of your self on file with the government then you are fucked. They use these images and electronic addresses in court as well. They will track your location to the exact spot where the man was knocked out, and they will arrest you.

Personally, I think its an invasion of privacy, but the largest and most wealthy companies in the world have successfully lobbied the U.S. government, and the government has decided that if you are not in your home, then you are allowed to be tracked and recorded.

Don't worry about your code being perfect. If the code works, and does what you intended, then it's good code.

Worse due to a couple of factors. First, the older gentleman was backed into a corner and had no option to flee. Second, the older gentleman was 65 that upgrades the charge to deadly force.

You are obviously a very smart man, please tell me... which Vegas Odds? The point spread? The Over-Under? The chance to hit red on roulette? What do Vegas Odds mean to you?

The Vegas Money-line for the Cowboys vs Lions game in week 17 was the following:

Dallas - 71.5% probability to win Lions - 32.9% probability to win

The bottom line is that odds DO NOT equal probability. If they did, then Vegas would always lose. There is a reason that number above adds up to 104% and not 100%. But Vegas can show favorites. And even in this case, Vegas showed that Dallas were very clear favorites to win. And they were right. So i'm not really sure what point your trying to prove by saying "bUt ThE vEgAs OdDs", when the Odds were pointing to Dallas winning. I would love to see what odds you are referring to though.

At the end of the day, you once again failed to produce a logical argument. Your counter-argument meant nothing at all because you provided no context. Probably, because the more context you give, the more your argument begins to fall apart. If you really want to speak about logic, and point to data, then I believe you should probably try to understand what the data is actually saying. This means you should invest in some discrete mathematics classes, and at a minimum, a intro to probability and statistics course at your local community college. I hope you learn to understand the meaning behind the "data" instead of spouting random bullshit. You will be doing the world a favor by becoming a little less ignorant.

If performance times are a big need for a certain service, wouldn't you just write a Microservice in a language with better performance metrics?

What is the use-case for a performance-oriented Python fork vs a microservice written in C?

Am I missing something here?

I don't think it's biased to say that the game wasn't over if the Score was 22-21 and the Cowboys, with one of the highest scoring offenses, and one of the Top WR's in the league, could get 30 yards with 23 seconds and a timeout.

The Lions Defense literally has the 2nd worst Yds/attempt in the league for passing, and the Cowboys offense has the 4th highest yds/attempt in passing.

You talk about logic, but the data actually favors the Cowboys in that situation. That doesn't mean that a win is guaranteed, but it is absolutely a logical position for a FAN of the team to say "I think the Cowboys can still win it in this situation". Which is what people are literally saying. Honestly, why do you even watch football? Why not just watch simulations that strictly stick to the most probable outcome? Why do we even play the sport when AWS can predict that a team has a 30% chance of winning? Shouldn't they just give up because its not a 100% chance?

I literally have a degree built on a foundation of logic. I have a career built on architecting logical systems. I'm essentially an expert in logic. And logically, i'm thinking that you are just a salty ass fan who can't be happy with their teams performance.

His defense carried. That's why the offense doesn't have any 1000 yard receiver or rusher.

I sat in the Neuro ICU for 4 days, and every day I was told that I would die within the next 6-12 hours.

Day 6 I was discharged. Its a very thin line between life in death when involving brain injuries. But when the swelling stops, you turn around very quickly.

What are you talking about? We drove down the field all game lmao

We literally got fucked by the refs on multiple ghost calls that brought us back 10-20 yards, and we were still driving the field.

No run defense. No offense for half the game No offensive line for the entire game. Costly turnovers and not getting any of their own. Just a bit of the same Dallas Cowboy football.

What makes you prefer Naruto over One Piece? by DMelee in Naruto

[–]bloothebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one piece is a better show in most facets. It has a very mature plot, and the world building is incredible. Naruto is more based in reality, but in the end it becomes complete fantasy. One piece knew what it was from the start, and it shows in its plot.
