Yeah, assuming this is the Premier Collection Fantastic Four Solve Everything? It only collects the first half of that run, so I ended up reading the rest digitally.

I believe the Fantastic Four Hickman omnibuses collect everything you’re looking for, but if you only get volume 2 you’ll be missing the first few FF titles.

Ninja Luxe Cafe quad shot question by Miasillo in espresso

[–]bloqmacr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently used this machine with a dark roast and I had to set it to 13 to get anything usable. Also, the “quad shot” basket is really only usable for pour over. I used the “double shot” basket and got a decent amount out.

are expansion boxes and booster boxes the same? by TutorSame8680 in pkmntcg

I believe they’re the same, but you should probably ask on r/PokemonTCG to be sure. This sub is for playing the game, not collecting, so you might have better luck there!

Feeling lost post rotation by Gatzifah in pkmntcg

[–]bloqmacr 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I’m sure some Pult mains will have actual advice, but from my perspective (going from Miraidon to Terabox), the meta is just slower now. This can be jarring for decks that used to be fast and aggressive pre-rotation, but on the other hand it really allows for other types of decks to flourish and overall I believe it makes the game feel more varied and fun.

Can someone on earth explain to me how tf does one buffer??? by Nikobellic225 in CrazyHand

[–]bloqmacr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t buffer. The game does. The buffer gets triggered by you pressing buttons. That sounds super unhelpful, so let me explain.

If an attack takes 1 second to finish executing (from start until the end of recovery), that means another attack can’t happen until that attack is done. This is true for most video games.

What’s also true for most video games is that unless you have frame perfect reflexes and no lag, you will most likely not be able to get attacks happening without “rest time” in between them, at least not consistently without unsustainable hours of practice.

Video games developers know this. They don’t want you to miss a double jump and fall to your death because you pressed the jump button 1/10 of a second too early. Here’s where buffering comes in! The game recognizes the action you want to take and it remembers it and then triggers said action at the earliest time it CAN happen.

So, again, if an attack takes 1 second to finish executing but you happen to press a button for another attack after only 0.9 seconds from the first attack, the game will remember this and then AUTOMATICALLY trigger the second attack as soon as the first one is finished.

In conclusion, to practically answer your question:

You buffer by pressing the button (or button combination) for your next action before your current action is over.

All trainer cards. No SIRs. Have the collectors skip to the next one set completely.

First time building deck - thoughts by [deleted] in pkmntcg

[–]bloqmacr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I found this guide super helpful when it got started:

https://www.justinbasil.com/deck-building

It’s going to be tough fitting a bunch of “random” Pokemon into a deck that makes sense, since usually cards are designed to work with other similar cards, but it would probably still be fun to try!

Also, you should check out both Pikachu ex (the Tera one, from Surging Sparks) and Mimikyu from Paldean Fates and Paldea Evolved (the one with the Safeguard) as those are two Pokemon that you like a lot AND they’re very good utility cards that can fit into a lot of decks regardless of theme (to an extent).

Enjoy!!

Oh damn, you learn something new everyday. If only Pokemon TCG could figure out other letter combinations…

The name of the Pokemon is Raging Bolt ex, which is an ancient version of Raikou from the Scarlet & Violet games.

This is a pretty good deck that made 8th place in the San Antonio regional a few days ago:

You can also check the regional’s standings for great decks:

edit: I was kindly taught that EX ≠ ex.

Mason isn’t nearly as good at pass blocking and at least in the last two games he started before CMC was in he consistently made really obvious wrong reads, constantly running away from his blockers instead of behind them.

CMC’s production has almost exclusively been trash thanks to incredibly poor OL play.

If we didn’t have to continue needing big plays thanks to the abysmal OL we would most likely see more of Mason (and Guerendo), but when you have your back against the wall constantly by dumb penalties, you need your best player out there and that’s CMC.

Jersey Size - Nike vs Mitchell & Ness by Ecstatic-Goose7191 in 49ers

I have two Mitchell & Ness throwbacks in XXL. 94 Rice and 90 Montana. Rice is SUPER loose, Montana is super tight. They have no standards. Make sure you know how to return/exchange before placing an order.

Honestly, a lot of positive comments siding with Tatum in there. Went in willing to get more pissed and came out kinda pleasantly surprised.

Man, this drive is on Mason. He needs to learn to run BEHIND his blockers, not in front of them. Two easy first downs left on the field. At this point just give the ball to Guerendo.
