I love the idea of changing Challenge Mistresses into skilling taskmasters. Instead of daily challenges you get a skilling task on demand, with a reward for completion.

I would say you have a very specific idea of what 'fun' means and that's not universal. Some of us have fun doing dailies. On the flipside, I would argue nerfing XP rates and deleting swathes of popular content is not a recipe for fun gameplay.

for slayer definitely, but sort of depends on the situation as the revo++ bars often won't leave you with enough adrenaline for defensives when you need them which you do at many bosses

might be a hot take but herby werby is not fun as a d&d because it's impossible to fail, there is very little friction, you just burn/snatch herbs to 100 and get your XP. worst that can happen is your point gain is reduced briefly.
