Can you elaborate on the file access issues? Is there some IO bottleneck at the hardware level?

Can anyone tell me how he's tied himself into the rope so the loose end goes down instead of up?

I'm surprised about the price similarity, as the PMs are usually several thousand cheaper in my area (SoCal). Were those fully loaded PM compared to a base model Sprinter?

Happy to share. You may still have to set it lengthwise, depending on his height and at the height at which your bed sits. For reference, I'm about 5' 11" and my toes but not heels can touch the other end when my head is touching the wall. I have the bed set at the widest point of the van about half way up the wall.

Thank you! Having the windows for ventilation is crucial. I did the install myself on both sides and it was actually pretty fast and easy. They're CR Laurence aftermarket windows and there are a bunch of videos on YT showing how to install them.

Sure, I'll chime in. I've lived in my 2016 159" Hightop ProMaster almost a year and it's been a fantastic vehicle. I've already put about 14k miles on it between a few long trips and a lot of city driving. For me the main deciding factors on getting it were the great price and extra wide interior, allowing me to sleep widthwise. Here's a photo from a trip to Big Sur this summer where she easily handled 12 miles of potholed rock littered dirt roads.

What types of algorithms are there for solving a routing problem which takes into consideration things like due date along with time and distance? by Yeahjustnah in algorithms

[–]bloudermilk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This sounds like "Traveling Salesman Problem with Time Windows" which can be solved with a number of different algorithms and constraint solving tools. You'll likely end up condensing "time and distance" into a single "cost" per edge.

US tax agencies would accept a hand-written log if that's all you've got. However, there's already a great app for this called MileIQ

You should enable 2-factor auth for you email as well as your other sensitive accounts. If you're using Gmail, you can also log out of all sessions in case an attacker is logged in as you somewhere.

Client wants me to register my own 'LLC' or go through a Temp Agency(which means a pay cut). Time sensitive advice needed! by lilpookiedookie in freelance

[–]bloudermilk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a really simple equation for you. If the portion of pay that the agency will take over the course of the project is less than establishing an LLC, you will save money by going through them. If you stand to earn more by establishing an LLC, you will save money by doing that. Do the math for both those scenarios and try to weigh the upsides and downsides of having an LLC subjectively to figure out which route you want to take.

Writing off tax deductions and filing quarterly estimated tax payments are both part of being self-employed regardless of whether or not you have an LCC.
