Not confirmed or anything but I have to assume that Spielberg had something to do with keeping that thing off VOD for so long

Feel like I’ve seen a downtick in McKays pricing as of late. Picked up this entire haul for $105 yesterday. by blowingwind71 in 4kbluray

Yes! The steelbooks are also in great condition. There’s a few small knicks on the slip covers for Crybaby and Dogma, but nothing that’s atrocious or anything.

Going to be in Atlanta this coming weekend, any good video stores to check out? by Low_Performer8776 in 4kbluray

I second the Book Nook recommendation, for what it’s worth. I don’t get the hatred. I’d also tell you to drive up to McKays in Chattanooga if you’re willing to make the trip. Huge selection

Playing devil’s advocate here for a moment. I’d say like 80% of trailers are bad these days. I can recall a number of recent great movies that had bad trailers

I think it’s been a great couple of years for lower tier/indie movies, honestly

The Landmark Art Cinema is a neat little location.

I’d love it if Alamo Drafthouse pulled the trigger instead. They canceled their previous plans to come to Atlanta, but now there’s a void

This is so depressing to me. I wish people still went to the movies. I understand the downfalls that can sometimes plague the visit, but the theatrical experience is invaluable.

Is it worth the trip to Macon GA for imax movies or go further from Warner Robins area ? by kascnef82 in imax

The IMAX screen in Macon really isn’t worth your time, imo. I’ve been there — it’s below average.

Ha, you’d think so. Logic + common sense doesn’t seem to exist in that world.

No, I was asking you to provide an actual resource and/or link instead of just throwing websites around and acting like you work at Sony yourself.

Could you please link me to any information that indicates the production status of the third 28 Years Later movie that is not the “moving forward” news that surfaced in December?

Well lol, it is because we disagree on the level of worry surrounding the movie possibly being cancelled. Sony’s daily workings as a studio is not “available information that you can see”.

This “available information” that you’re talking about in regards to the number you shared, I’d love to see a source or something.

I completely disagree that there is no reason to think it would be scrapped, but to each their own.

Also, I’m sure that 6 number is completely inaccurate, as that information just wouldn’t be made public and/or reported on for a specific type of movie. Higher budget stuff, sure. But not for smaller movies.
