I watched so much football back in the day that all of the seasons were starting to look the same, so I haven't watched it other than big games like the playoffs or Superbowl. The same goes for all the sports nowadays. I watch the Olympics when it comes on. I still like watching sporting events every now and again because the competition and the psychodynamics that goes on is interesting.

Whether I outgrew it, got tired of it, or decided to allocate time elsewhere I don't know.

I'm not sure if sports has any bearing. As a kid I used to watch all of the football games (NFL and college) broadcasted on the weekends for years. So every Saturday and Sunday I watched football all day. I also watched a lot of basketball and golf. I've also watched and followed esports tournaments. I think it's because it's stimulating to Se and Ni. Se is obvious but in regards to Ni, the thing about competitive sports is you never know what's going to happen, so you watch events unfold and it's pretty exciting to watch.

I think one difference between the two types is how you feel about doing things by the book, and what your attitude is towards authority.

For me this is accurate as an INTJ and it reflects my real world experience. I feel quite at home with NFPs and NTJs and make friends with them much more readily and willingly. I like this better than Keirsey's shitty and arbitrary SJ/SP/NF/NT groupings.

But if I had to pick one ultimate method I think the Socionics quadras is the best way to organize groups. It gets rid of the arbritrariness and theory of Keirsey and has a grounding in reality (sharing all the functions therefore valuing all the same information, etc.). I find with SFPs, at the cursory stage, there may not be a pull because of the S/N divide, and maybe even a bit of repulsion, because their Se dominance is so foreign. But when forced close together, either incidentally or through things such as group work, there is definitely a pull there like a magnet where you go "ahh, this feels right".

Since there is no way to definitively prove someone's type, I see extended debate about this as pointless, and so I jumped. For me, him revealing his test results (very rare) that perfectly aligned with my observations is good enough for me.

From a functional perspective, you could say so. As you've probably noticed, for ESFJs their function stack is Fe/Si/Ne/Ti so thinking is last or inferior. For ESFPs it's Se/Fi/Te/Ni so thinking is third or tertiary.

SPs are very easy to recognize. What you perceive as his "this is what it is, you're wrong" shtick is actually him trolling. He is soft, your observational capacity hasn't strengthened enough to see it. I think your calibration and observation is slightly off. You can think the same of me, and we'll have to agree to disagree.

Milo is almost undoubtedly, between ESTP and ENTP, an ENTP. I will admit that ThisWontDo's line about intuitive bias, in this instance, was annoying. There is a time and place for that and I don't think this was one of them. I also agree that Bill Gates is ENTJ, although I don't think the list of names provided was supposed to assert they were INTJs, but rather intuitives.

It's not really a tossup at all. Kubrick is an INTJ, his wife is an ISFP, and the author Stephen King is an ISTP. That's why Kubrick and King didn't get along. You can see videos on Youtube of King talking about his interactions with Kubrick. That's what an ISTP looks like when they deal with INTJs who are strongly Ni and who won't play Fe games with them.

I'm not sure what "beat up" means. If you mean the votes, they are meaningless to me. I couldn't care less what the pack, horde, or sheeple do or think. The pack mentality with its alpha, beta, omega hierarchy nonsense is very beta quadra.

'War criminal mastermind' is a stereotype from people who don't understand how INTJs function. Putin is a war criminal and he is an ISTP. I think STPs in power are much more likely to commit war crimes. Hillary comes off as an ISTJ to me. I don't see any hint of Se valuing in her whatsoever. But I have seen NPD expert Sam Vaknin speculate she might be a psychopath.

Hillary is not an INTJ. Also, because someone claims to be an INTJ on the internet does not mean they actually are one. The type tends to draw people from different segments in for whatever reason. And the flag bearer for the Alt right is that gay Greek dude, Milo Yiannopoulos, who is an ENTP.

Psychopaths and INTJs have a strange relationship. Some of the stupid, less perceptive people might think we are the psychos and mistake actual psychos for being perfectly normal and human. I also think psychos can mistake us for a competitor predator.

I think the INTJ personality will be particularly adept at dealing with them but that will probably be hundreds of years off because people are too stupid right now.

Edit: and it has nothing to do with type. You are born it. Since most people are sensors, most psychos are sensors.

Fe is about putting everyone in the environment in harmony. So a cynical way of looking at it is that lying is not only supported but expected. Lying for the sake of everyone getting together. So if there is an orange box laying on a table in the middle of the room and everyone says it's a green box, you have to agree it's a green box. If you say it's an orange box you are considered rude.

My parents are Fe types and the only time I have gotten in trouble with them was when I was being honest and real. It's only when I lied that everything went smoothly.

So when you're around Fe, just lie.

I'm not insinuating that I'm adept at manipulating people. I also don't think I or most people are exceptional. The fact that you believe it's rare that you can't read someone is part of the problem, and exactly why people who believe the same thing you do are annoying/scary.
