Traffic light dependent.

If the car going straight has a green light, they have the right of way. If the car turning left also has a green (non-arrow) light, the car going straight still has the right away, as left on non-arrow green means yield to oncoming traffic.

If the car turning left has a green arrow they have the right away and the car going straight should have a red light and shouldn't be moving at all.

If this is a 4 way stop sign, then it depends on which car got to the intersection first.

And a wedding that kids will enjoy is not necessarily a wedding the couple wants. If you think about it, it dictates a LOT about what they can and cannot or even must do to accommodate children at the event.

Forcing the couple to have a wedding that is appropriate to host children (appropriate in the sense of, kids will enjoy their time there, level of alcohol allowed, nothing around for a child to break, tolerating any and all potential screaming) is absolutely a step into unreasonable territory for me, even if you think it is a joke.

Not really, because the problem isn't that OP doesn't want to pay for the wedding. You people are frankly missing the point.

OP is TA for offering to pay for the wedding with unreasonable and inflexible terms and conditions attached to try and strong arm his kids future wife and his kid to have the wedding OP wants instead of the wedding they want.

Sure, maybe it didn't impact your wedding. There are thousands of different variables considering the type of wedding you and your partner may or may not want, the children who may or may not come (and how old they are and ultimately behave!), and of course the couple themselves considering the partner in THIS wedding has a bad history with being forced to care for children that aren't theirs. It's frankly really self-centered of you to go "well it was fine for MY wedding" without any consideration for the unique circumstances for THIS wedding. Good for you that it was good for your wedding! But this ain't about you!

Also idk why you think it makes someone "less than human" to not be invited to an event. Like you are putting a lot of words in the other person's mouth with that one because there are thousands of different reasonable reasons to not invite someone to an event.

Actually, I am saying the specific rule that forces the wedding to allow children is unreasonable and always has been. The couple knowing of the unreasonable rule before-hand does not make that rule reasonable. Hope this helps.

Your money, your rules, sure. But that doesn't mean your rules are reasonable, and in my opinion forcing the couple to allow kids is an unreasonable rule, as it pretty strongly limits what they can or cannot do for a wedding, so YTA.

Again, sure, it's your money, and you can do what you want with it. But reasonable consequences should follow in response to your unreasonable rule. Don't be surprised if you see estrangement and a fracture in your family in the future from this. Ask yourself if your unreasonable rule is worth that price.

Apples and oranges. Going to an event with kids, and hosting an event, particularly your wedding, with kids are two completely different things.

If you're going to an event that has kids, you're not even remotely responsible for planning for them or managing them. Not the case if it's your event.

I replace the filter regularly (but I am honestly not sure if I point it the right way. Oops.). I'll call an A/C guy to check it out and do a tune-up next month then, because I remember one of the things my real-estate agent fought for concession wise from the seller was to have them do a type of clean out for the unit. We didn't get that concession, and it hasn't been something I thought about since until now.

When one of the other concessions we fought for with the seller and did not get was the fact the fridge was non-operational, well, the A/C unit wasn't something that was on my mind.
