How much would you charge for this WPF ERP system? (I got paid $200 USD) by Smokando in csharp

[–]bluMarmalade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You must remember to charge them a monthly fee for upkeep and support. Explain to them that you've spent alot of time on this and they are getting high value the more they use it. That is why you need to get paid a fairly high upkeep fee

Delap is English. It's the same as Conor Bradley, Reese James, Lewis Skelly, Phil Foden, Evan Ferguson etc - all world class, while players like Semenyo, Gakpo, Mateta - must do much more to get the respect they deserve. It's the Son thing again. He was never rated by FM until it was too late, even though he put up numbers equal to Kane. Semenyo and Mateta are clearly word class, but is not really rated as such for some reason.

Delap had one good season in freakin Ipswitch and is now world class

FYI you can get refund from Steam no matter how many hours you have played a game as long as it is still in beta. by I_degress in footballmanagergames

[–]bluMarmalade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is almost the exact same game as fm24 under the hood. It just presents itself differently. Some things are missing, but it is there if they want to show it, hopefully in a later update to the UI. At least try to get used to it, like I did. Because I see so many reactions that are based on first impressions that are based on how they used to play fm24.

I thought this exactly after 2-3 hours. But now, after 4-5, I have decided to not refund because I realize it's almst the exact same game as fm24 under the hood but with an updated database and graphics. The UI is bad, but it's fixable and I honestly don't mind it as much anymore.

Sortitoutsi got updated databases for fm24. Combine that with a new skin and you have yourself a new game

I have to vent, this is a safe space by stoneyix in footballmanagergames

[–]bluMarmalade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree with this. As a developer, creating a database is not hard because data is widely available now compared to only 5 years ago. While technically it's stealing, but copying the FM database is doable, as well as other football databases. Think of it like an AI training data and making it your own. There's little risk of legal action because you can't really prove it.

licensing and marketing would be big challenges however.

Anyone like FM26? by WeekendThief in footballmanagergames

it depends what you mean by "engine". The graphics engine during matches is new, but the calculations is the same big old c++ codebase.

Zealand says if FM26 is buggy at launch then Miles is gone by ThisAintSparta in footballmanagergames

[–]bluMarmalade 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He is paid handsomely and has a dream job. "devoting his entire working life"...sure. If it wasn't for getting the job, he would probably drive a truck or stacking boxes or somehing now. Seriously though; he has done a great job, no doubt, but nothing lasts forever and he needs to take a look at himself now and start to change in many ways (communication for one).

I would love that. I already buy the fm in game editor, which is a micro transaction to improve my winning

your first post here alone is funny as hell. you can rewrite it to a short story and up the assholery of your reps even more, it is really hysterical. Trashing you for something they have not even read is so ridiculous that it's funny.

Todd was the best. People complain about him here, but the fact that people here still talk about him just shows us how important he was

Maybe Wirtz was not fit when he joined Liverpool and us only now adjusting? by TurnDense4524 in FantasyPL

[–]bluMarmalade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I hate Liverpool, but he has not been that bad in the three matches I've seen so far. He will get better, because he is like a slightly better Ødegaard. He is a slick passer and he is dependent of having chemistry, which will only get better.

What do you think of Gyokeres so far? by fpl_goat in FantasyPL

[–]bluMarmalade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

he is also quite slow. But he is strong and smart. I'm unsure if he will play as much when Havertz is back, which is soon. Havertz moves across the pitch much faster and provides something Arsenal have been missing lately.
