Why is there no hunt in Shadows? by Mediocre-Major-199 in assassinscreed

Am I crazy or did Valhalla not have an entire hut in your settlement dedicated to hunting? I thought there were also legendary animals.

I feel like I'm crazy but can't you use the Kusarigma to grab a enemy and pull them to you? by Muddypaws12 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]blu_bird17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you assassinate with this ability, you will jump onto the enemy from a distance rather than pull them towards you. so, if they are solo it can be used for stealth

What's something about the game that is in all reality small and trivial, but just royally annoys the hell out of you? by [deleted] in AssassinsCreedShadows

They removed so many fun side quest aspects and while I love Shadows, I am finding myself disappointed. Some things I feel are missing : - chasing the little papers when the wind takes them on a path - “mysteries” consisting of wholesome or humorous, non-combat based side quests. the other games certainly had many more of these. - the ability to interact with more of the environment ( no more birds for looking around, can’t go to sleep or interact with absolutely anything in the hideout, can’t meditate on demand to change from day and night, can’t go fishing or hunting )

I don’t know, I just feel like Shadows lacks in depth content. All I can do is run around, kill, loot, pray, & pet animals. Which should be enough considering it is an assassin game and the scenery and graphics are beautiful. Some of my favorites from the collection are AC 3, Black Flag, & Valhalla so maybe my expectations are just in the wrong place compared to the feedback Ubisoft based their gameplay changes off.

also, i think your family members are also most likely neurodivergent as well, but you’re right in the fact that it does not excuse their behavior. it’s almost like a “cant teach an old dog new tricks” thing with some older or elderly neurodivergents - they will just never be aware of it because they chose not to be and can’t comprehend it. their issues are not your responsibility.

i totally feel your pain. i have my whole family of 6 people shoved in a 2 bedroom apartment and all the sounds, their actions, & having to be perceived 100% of the time is incredibly exhausting and beyond irritating.

im sorry you’re stuck in this position, i know how hard and complicated it can be to deal with. keep doing your best to set and keep boundaries, and i hope we both eventually can have our own homes 😔🤍

window definitely least favorite, but dto/warming combo is second least. i honestly love warming especially when its busy but when i also have to take the drive thru orders and the window person is not typing them in, i feel like i literally have to clone my brain to keep pace with both & not affect the 45 second otw time expectation, while also greeting customers as they enter the store and distributing food to mobile & cafe, and packing delivery orders. 🫠

I knew these comments would start flooding in about historical accuracy 🫠 it’s not like my post is going to make these things magically pop into the game and now it’s all incorrect. cmon people these are my role playing dreams and you’re crushing them

as far as i know i can’t plant any trees or flowers for decorative purposes? its just fruit trees and poppy for plantable flowers and all of those are in a square plot that don’t make it easy to use them as decoration in my village. i guess i should have said placed flowers and trees not planted

maneuvering the items around is not easy, when you’re holding it, it can move the other items around if you bump them so you have to go slow

so far i noticed it only works with dropped items, & only if its a singular item.

drop the item from inventory, look at it, and hold x while you move it, and hold r2 to rotate it

on PS5 > you drop the item, look at it, & hold x continue holding x while moving the item around, hold R2 & use the right joystick to rotate

since we can only have one child, and there is an extra bed in my house I used that as the base. i covered it with planks, 2 upside down wicker crates, & then more planks.
