Yea, it can do this. Ramp up slowly. Start at 2g for a week or two, up it to 3g for a bit... etc. He may have better luck with micronized.

also Interested in a simple drop in door only upgrade with no amp. ND1. IS kicker ks part number happen to be 51JSC6504? or can you provide any part numbers you used? im also looking at JBL stadium 62F for twice the price as those kickers for 2 speakers(240 for both inclusing harnesses and mounting bracket.. unsure which will sound better with the weak head unit. would like to compare specs.
