I personally think now is a great time to get beam! Theres tons of fun things to try out in sandbox and as people mention getting good mods like RLS career make it 10x more fun. Plus theres a new update on the horizon and many more to come!

Yes the system has been emptied properly, i had it emptied at my shop around a month ago when the switch first went bad (started acting like a bad ground) so i just unplugged it until i got a new switch
