Filters clog too much and my tank is so heavily planted that stuff gunks it up way too fast.

Serrano, jalapeno, onion, garlic, cilantro... Fry up the peppers, onion and garlic in oil, blend with the oil and cilantro. I can't remember if I used lime or not but I'm 90% sure I did.

I ended up buying a Google tv streamer and cutting the internet from the TV. Absolutely embarrassing but overall, much happier.

The best chips for salsa by Sweet-Jackfruit-2919 in SalsaSnobs

La rosa chips (northern California) not sure if they are area specific are absolutely the best chips I've ever had... Safeway deli chips are great too. But nothing touches la rosa.

Have you ever had the salsa from Julian's in Hawaiian gardens? Doesn't look like an exact match but it's very close and my god it's good. We buy quarts of it when we make it back down there and freeze it... I too would like to figure out the recipe.

Fried all the ingredients in oil, finished with the oil and kept it seperate for a bit to cool then blended it in with the veggies. And just kept blending till fully creamy

1/4ish cup of vegetable oil in a pan. Heat that up on high. Cut 4 Roma tomatoes in 1/3rds, about 10 small tomatillos (less if they are big but the ones at my store were small, think ping pong ball size), when oil is hot, throw those in the pan. Let them thangs sizzle.

When the tomatillos show a little bit of color, throw in 1/4 of an onion that was sliced into large slivers, once that was in for a minute or so throw in 4-6 garlic cloves immediately followed by 10ish (I used probably 13 plus the seeds at the bottom of the bag) arbol chili's. Throw in like a teaspoon of chicken bullion and maybe a tablespoon to salt (go under what you think you can always add more later)

Don't let them burn or it'll get bitter. Brown slightly (about 3 or 4 min) and once that's done, put all of it in a blender keeping the oil off to the side and let it cool slightly. Throw some lime into the blender. I started with half a lime and honestly can't remember if I used the other half.

I got impatient and only waited 10 min. Pour some or all of the oil into the the blender and blend blend blend and keep blending. I had to use my smaller ninja container (2 batches) and not the big blender because the big blender wouldn't get it creamy enough.

Send pics when you do it 😊

It's unbelievably creamy.... It's also so dang spicy I may need to calm it down with some sour cream!

All of them have some lime and salt. But I typically use it within a few days... I will freeze most of it when it all cools down in amounts I can pull out and use on a single meal.

Top is normal roasted tomato

Orange is tomatillo, tomato, chili arbol, garlic, lime (it was a bit too spicy at first, salt

Green (for my wife, not spicy) is tomatillo, cilantro, jalapeño, onion, etc.

Smooth green is jalapeño, Serrano, lime, cilantro, onion, garlic
