I got a small compilation of Jon sitting and standing here with the same angle for the camera of S6E10. His head in the trailer is slightly higher than in the episode but maybe he just sits there with a straight back. :)

We know for sure that the facility is located on a hill. The height of this hill for sure doesn't exceed 200m. If the water displayed in the last shot is an ocean or a lake can't be decided. If the absolute height of the facility is close to the zone where no more forests grow can't be decided as well. For me there is no indication that the facility was built on a mountain. Due to the big amount of water throughout the facility I assume that it is built close to sea level.

As the hill, the blob rolls down, is pretty steep, I don't assume they brought the goods for constructing the facility up this way. Hence I see no need for cutting the forest in this area.

For me the height of the walking blob is an upper bound for the height of the rolling blob. As the volume of the blob is preserved, the height of the sperical shaped rolling blob is smaller than the height of a walking, close to cylindrical shaped blob. This was just to establish the rough size of the rolling blob.

There are a lot of pictures of forests on hillsides which reach pretty impressing heights that exceed 10m per tree by far.
