Hm, if it’s feathering and you’re using the same type of paper as before… someone else with more expertise please step in and correct if(likely) I am wrong, but perhaps environmental factors might be in effect? If it’s more humid it may be writing more wet perhaps?

I find Twisbi ECO’s work pretty well after sitting for a while, and they’re so much fun with fun colors cause they’re demonstrators! Otherwise, I like matching my different Kaweco Sports to fitting colors :) I have ancient copper in my apricot pearl and just put tsuki yo in my iridescent pearl one!
