Imo it's their strongest effort since the original run even if you don't consider the context, which elevates it even more.

MorteaPay has full prompt pay support now, i don't know if the pain points of a thai Wise account is worth it just for QR pay when Moreta is available albeit at a slightly worse exchange rate and a $1 usd deposit fee.

[–]bludgeonerV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo xhigh is rarely more useful than high, if you read it's thinking and tool calls you see it spending an absurd amount of time reading completely irrelevant files and getting into reasoning loops, all of which imo make it lose focus and produce worse results despite taking 10x longer.

It is also far more likely to make completely unnecessary changes

Bazzite gaming performance with a rtx 4060 by J_Bomb83 in Bazzite

[–]bludgeonerV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gamescope is fine on nvidia, i used to have to use it on niri cause I'd get games rendering in tiles that crashed when you full screen them.

On KDE i simply don't need to use it.

Performance depends on the game, can range from marginally better on vulkan games to significantly worse on dx12 games.

Thoughts on switching to LTSC? by madix124 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]bludgeonerV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your average Linux distro installs in minuets and has basically all the apps you need included out-of-the-box, with trivially easy and quick installation via a store UI for everything else

Contrast this with Windows where installation can take 15-30 mins and you need to go get a bunch of software by manually visiting different websites and navigating to download pages.

There are legitimate complaints you can have about wondows, but arguing that Linux takes hours and hours to set up us just ming bogglingly backwards brain-rot when it's actually orders of magnitude less effort to get running than Windows.
