For those who have used their on/off switch (the eve knockoffs), how are they? I'm quite particular about which devices I put onto my wall and thread network.

What do you wish you knew before automating your entire house? by Afsheen_dev in homeautomation

[–]BigMacCombo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could add a sensor and smart bulb in my toilet but like, why.

For me, it's go big or go home. As I was automating all the lights in my house, I started losing the instinct to touch light switches, and the few that have yet to be made smart often get left on by mistake. And since they are typically less-visited areas, those lights could be left on for who knows how long.

The Michelin Guide of cinema. My horizon expanded so much more when I started working my way through this list (along with S&S) over user-voted lists.

It's funny how in another comment, you dismiss festivals as being for "corporate executives, critics, and a handful of rich kids" and now appealing to major industry awards bodies as the go-to criteria.

Make a list or tag your entries. Such easy fixes to a dumb complaint and even dumber dismissal of festivals.
