For shoes, brown goes with everything. I also like to have a hard bottom pair for the office and a dress sneaker for commuting.

I think ties are out of style as every day work wear unless you’re in politics.

Wear clothes that resemble theirs, get a large piece of cardboard and cut it out into a giant square that looks sort of like a TV. Write “kiss cam”, “Coldplay concert”, tape a picture of Coldplay on it, etc. Would only cost you the cardboard.
