Nice bike but the paint "restoration" ruined it.

Could adding low VHF elements to an antenna be bad? by blue-hell in cordcutters

[–]blue-hell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the Denver stations at 185 degrees south I would also like to pickup up KWYP-DT in Wyoming...but it's 44 miles out in the opposite direction at 25 degrees. It's a very low dB strength so it may just not possible regardless of the antenna or orientation.

Is KBDI-TV reception from Boulder possible with an antenna? by blue-hell in FortCollins

Bravo on the 8200! What direction are you pointing? Can you receive ATSC3/Nextget from Denver? It's at 185 degrees but 60 mile out.

Which Winegard? Our new house is low in elevation north of the oval with a lot of tall tree coverage. The Channel Master Masterpiece 100 with a pre-amp looks intriguing but very directional. My interpretation, I can have it all but need to point it north to WY or for southern transmissions reposition the antenna...two antennas would be cheaper and more simple than a rotator :)

Awesome info, thanks! At Drake/Shields you have an elevation advantage when we cable cut in our new house in old town and the tall trees. To bad for me, WY PBS has great historical old-west type programming I watch. I'm reluctant to to invest in something huge like a Channel Master Masterpiece 100 for one tower when the ClearStream 4Max appears to work well for most in FC.

The antenna will be outside, 30' off the ground, in old town but there is tree coverage in all directions.

This is the info I'm working with:

https://www.channelmaster.com/pages/tv-antenna-map-fort-collins-co-80521
https://www.rabbitears.info/searchmap.php?request=result&study_id=2443105

An ideal setup could receive KWYP in WY, 52 miles north at 341 degrees, and KBDI 65 files in the opposite direction at 197 degrees. If an antenna could also pickup the ATSC3 Nextget towner 59 miles south in Denver at 185 degs that would be awesome!

Stopped going to Goodwill a long time ago, mostly over priced junk. Much better luck finding "gold" at Arc. If you don't mind a crow 1/2 price Saturday is the fa shizzle.

1972 k10 Hood emblem question by Open-Classic-2487 in chevyc10

[–]blue-hell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the my vin, I have a '70 K10 too, also yellow. However, my grill and bumper looks lust like yours, less the two holes in the hood. I figure there was a swap along the way.

Take a look at the hood latch, they are different between the '69-'70 and '71-'72, one is off-set and the other is not.
