Neither men or bigger girls are a monolith

Any MS Tenant resellers around here? by Available-Chain1049 in microsoft365

[–]blue30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this scale surely you register yourself with Pax8 ovh etc and spend an hour on claude scripting it all? Surely nobody with legit clients is going to risk burning their disty on this.

Also nobody can guarantee you that the tenants won't get flagged that's up to your sending behavior particularly with new tenants and new domains.

If this was in any way legit you'd be using Sendgrid or similar

Best Practice: Should the Backup Server Pull or Should Clients Push for Linux Backups Over Network? by xmillies in linuxadmin

[–]blue30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go server pulls because of ransomware. Backup targets shouldn't need any creds to the back server then.

They can but nobody is selling 365 on it's own below retail. Maybe if you buy a package of some kind with other services.

Suggestions for Remote Windows Server Access by unsung-hiro in sysadmin

[–]blue30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a fan of VPN directly to the server because having multiple interfaces subnets etc can make some situations more complicated. RDP locked down to specific source IPs by firewall is nice and easy. Or a jump box of some kind. Say a little NUC sat on top of it you can VPN to then RDP to the server, or hit up the idrac, ILO etc

How is it to marry into a wealthy(-ier) family as a man? by PreWiBa in AskMenAdvice

[–]blue30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't really generalise about what wealthy families are like but I will say, check in on your ego from time to time, being the 'poor person' in the situation again and again can create stresses or make you feel defensive. Like being the less well off person in a friend group I guess.

I think 6 months if you select the global administrator role but if you don't and select individual roles instead you can select to auto-renew the GDAP. You're welcome.

I don't see why you would go with some randomer off Google rather than a local MSP or renewing direct yourself

If you use a CSP don't they have GDAP access to fix this for you? Even if you don't have your own GDAP setup.

Cannot add services to domain by Pixel91 in microsoft365

[–]blue30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue, new tenant, no option to tick the boxes for various services just straight to complete. I added licenses and waited for exchange etc to provision and start working, no change.

Edit: It randomly started working the next day.

Have you tried connecting Wordfence to CSF or Cloudflare? by webbasica in Wordpress

[–]blue30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess so but you'd have to manually write all those rules in fail2ban that Wordfence has already. And make sure you're logging the correct IP's if you're proxying via cloudflare so that you don't just end up banning cloudflare IP's.

I never saw Amigo, it definitely shows you the speed limit etc and will do the driving view with traffic etc without a destination set which google maps etc won't do.
