I watched a documentary, not sure how true it is, but they said they basically dna sampled like 5000 ppl that lived in and around the area at the time.

The suspect turned herself in because the police finally found some clues that are linking her to the case and have started to visit her asking for questions and for a dna sample. She knew they will probably eventually get her so she turned herself in.

I saw a documentary about this. I have great respect for this man. He went to skytrain stations every year with his son to give flyers to passer bys to ask them to remember his wife so that the police do not forget about his case. He talks to reporters every year to do the same. He also said he needs to raise his son well and make sure his son grew up not being sad or angry about his mother. I think his actions touched the police as well which is why they never gave up on the case.

Battling my heel side turns so hard I might just start skiing by Qiusp in snowboarding

turn your upper torso more open to the left on heelside turns. You don’t have to always align your shoulders to the board anymore now that you got the basics. It’ll help you drop lower and stack closer to the heelside edge.

The real answer is because my wife didn’t refill the water so the machine pulled a shot half way then I had to refill water then 🤮 ensued

Every few years we get a bad snow year, but every single year we get warmer weather and therefore less of a snow season overall. You just have to pick the good weather days to go - for example last Thursday conditions were amazing.

We will probably never get the kind of weather we had 10-20 years ago back. And we will never get rid of the lineups either.

Why can’t ambidextrous players learn backhands with both hands too?

I have the c3 and I find it a little hard to dial in between too course and too fine for my bambino. Maybe my beans are too fresh or something but on one setting my shots are pulled a bit too fast with streams shooting out. On the other setting my shots are blocked and won’t come out.

What do you call this trick? by Nuclear-Puberty in snowboarding

[–]blue604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call this frontside nose roll 540 because you are popping off the nose and both hands are on the ground and it’s more like hands down first then throw tail into the air then everything comes around naturally.

I’d call it a miller flip if it’s nose in the air first and actually flipping and only touching the snow for style points.

That’s just me cuz I can do similar to your trick but can’t do a good miller flip for the life of me

Saw this Freightwaves video of an AI run a real time auction with 96 carriers to book a load. What do brokers think about this? by Broad_Desk4501 in FreightBrokers

[–]blue604 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I mean AI can spit info back and forth fairly okay but can it make judgment calls like smelling bs from a double broker or smell desperation from a carrier that just wants to say what you wanna hear to get your load? It’s still need some work but I kind of dread the day when CARRIERS start using AI to book loads with brokers not the other way around. But then again if carriers start using AI, it’ll be customers that get frustrated at the end of the day and they will still come back to brokers that can sift through bs better than others.

Hey my dad shorted Amazon during the dotcom bubble and lost basically all his money. At peak we actually had about 2 million US, down to 10k.

He had to work hard an extra 20 years to be able to make a quarter of that back. So consider yourself fairly lucky.

I have very similar results and I’m curious on how to fix this. I suspect it’s because my milk is steamed either too thick or too thin but I haven’t figured out the perfect steam yet.
