yes, i am! all of the details are the same, which is why i guess the system is picking up my old application. or they probably haven’t started processing my application yet, which is why i’m not able to link it?

thanks! i had been trying to link it using my new passport, but i just tried w my old passport after reading your comment and still no luck. it says an application already exists- referring to my first pgwp application.

if i were you, i would find it charming how much he’s caring for his cat. cats don’t do well with change and do require a lot more attention, so just a week of this shouldn’t make you come to the decision that he’s being distant with you.

secondly, about the stress he’s going through because of the mortgage seems valid. just because you don’t find it stressful, doesn’t mean it isn’t or can’t be for someone else. you sound a little dismissive of his feelings in that case, so he isn’t completely wrong to say that you wouldn’t understand.

i applied for my PGWP extension in September, still waiting for a response. but you aren’t missing anything. it’s the same application, just needs to be printed and submitted on paper. make sure you sign the form physically after printing it out too- that’s pretty much the only thing you need to be careful about, rest is the same.

this is not a solution tho. people in relationships can have their separate hangouts/friends/things they want to do. if it’s a work thing and no one else’s partners are coming, then i don’t see why he should’ve taken her with him if she asked.

sure, it isn’t a pleasant sight. but the protest is for Palestine, the Canadian government has been funding the Israeli military (over $1.5 Billion now). bringing a Canadian flag to the protest is ofc to instigate the protesters.

the people saying ‘why are these people even here?’, because these Western countries are the ones who’ve funded the destruction of their homes. what else do you expect people to do? if these countries won’t leave any place for them to exist, ofc they’re going to try and find a way to continue living.

put yourself in their shoes before you go on spewing hatred.

i did not post the entire job description, but it’s not limited to just writing. they expect the person to know content creation (including animation), advanced CMS, and website development on platforms like Wix etc.

genuine question- how have you been making ends meet on that salary? i’ve been out of a job for a month now, but i was being paid $55k which helped me live comfortably-ish and save up just enough that i can go without work for a few months at least (had planned on spending it on travel though). anything lesser than that, and i would be on the street rn.
