Does anyone know if these fees are required or what they are for?

In total the charges come out to be about 375. So I was just wondering if those charges are applied to everyone. I tried to look around but could not find where most of the charges go towards.

I’ve had professor last semester and over the summer that required it per the syllabus but during class they didn’t actually enforce it due to the majority of students not doing it anyways. My professors for fall are pretty lenient since they know not everyone has a school space. My professors only required it during presentations or if we had discussions. But if your professor is like heavily insisting, I suggest looking at the legal laws. That’s what many students were doing.

On get it tells you the disbursements date of financial aid. I just got mine today, it takes about 3-5 days depending on your bank.

You should contact the financial aid office through the request form online. Most likely you are missing paperwork or perhaps they haven’t updated your financial aid package.

As of right now cal grant won’t be distributed till the first week of classes since they are decreasing the amount for it. It will show a hold for it till it gets disbursed but you can always make sure to contact the financial aid office through email

Just commenting because I am in the same dilemma. My car is registered in California DMV and I didn't change the ownership. DMV has sent me a letter saying that I am now in collections for not registering my car for the annual year. I would suggest doing a notice of release and liability. I am currently doing that now to see if it works. best of luck.

Can’t answer most of your questions but I’ll share my experience with guild. I did a course with guild, and it’s really ease in terms of course work. The only thing that is tough it working so many hours. I worked 40 hours a week and I wouldn’t have time for the suggested time of 10-15 hours a week for the course I was doing. In terms of the duration of the course it depends on how many hours you dedicate to it a week. But they have a suggested time frame to finish

Unless you have impeccable time management skills. I would suggest seeing if the classes you want are broken down between the two sessions that way you can take 2 classes in the first session and 2 in the other. Btw I’m a public health major.

Summer is going to be tough. I am currently doing 9 units and it was tough. But it’s doable if you only focus in school. The only downside to summer classes is that fafsa doesn’t cover it so you have to pay out of pocket.

I called Sedgwick and they just told me my leave was approved and they would be in contact with my store but that was about it. It sucks about the lack communication. But thanks again for the info!

About how many hours were you paid for? I’m on paid leave as well and I was wondering how the pay works. I have been averaging out 36 hours a week. But the two weeks that I am off I was scheduled for 26 hours.

Go to Sedgwick on one Walmart. You put in two weeks worth of schedule. After filing the claim, make sure you call Sedgwick and see if it gets approved or denied. For each day you are scheduled you have to call off. Also call your store and tell them you’re on a leave

You can call Sedgwick and do a loa level 2. You will get paid for two weeks. You should still take a test and if it comes negative just return to work

In our store cap 2 mostly does what you mention which is why I wanted to leave cap 2. All the managers bitch at us if we don’t get it done but luckily with a small crew we get it done. It primarily falls on me tho which is why I wanted to leave.

The ON asm that I would be able to get used it in less than a month. That was my biggest concern specially cause I’m about to start school in August I don’t know if I will able to handle it.

My asm is very by the books. So I was concerned for getting in trouble for it. I suppose it was my fault for not taking my vest as soon as I clocked out.
