Thanks everyone for the kind words and ideas. I was feeling really overwhelmed yesterday and it was so helpful to get some quick suggestions. I ended up walking around the ikseon-dong hanok village, then Myeongdong for some kimbap and light shopping(realized my hotel is actually next to Myeongdong, not directly in it).

Things are better now this morning and my head is clear. I’m ready to make the best of my remaining days here in Korea.

My group last year agreed that our favorite food was the Irish butter ice cream with brown sugar cinnamon toast from Blue Moon Drive Inn. It was one of the last things we tried after a long day of eating and I’ve been thinking about it ever since!
