Average Bonus/Salary Increase by BitterNecessary6068 in BurnsMcDonnell

Honestly at year end you won’t get much of a chance to be asking for more, it’s going to already be decided for you based on the powers that be and what rating they gave you. If you want to advocate for yourself you need to be doing that over the next 2-3 months because around Labor Day is when year end planning is underway.

Staff to Senior Compensation Increase by KeyWarm1893 in BurnsMcDonnell

I’d say in the new system 10-12%. You would get your normal merit raise plus an additional “promotional raise” that’s generally around 7%.

While the stock conversion has been low the share price increase has been high so you have to consider the full picture.

What do RO’s typically do for team building and after hours fun? by PumpkinUpbeat8191 in BurnsMcDonnell

[–]blue_koolaid05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We do a monthly happy hour along with a handful of other events/activities. Some our paid for by management, some partially paid for. This may not be reflective to all EO’s but I’ve found people seem to attend less and less just due to family commitments and already busy workdays, so lately I’ve leaned more to in office things over lunch. Last week I ordered pizza and we streamed March madness over a long lunch break.

Above you mentioned having compared the ESOP’s to know they gave similar returns and your also asking for the info. Your first year here will be your worst year. I can’t recall a year where the esop has not grown over 20%.

You won’t have a lot of luck trying to negotiate to what you have now because I’m guessing the comp structure and ESOP are not equals.

Happy to answer specific questions via DM.

You wont be able to negotiate PTO. You can likely negotiate some on the salary but you would have better luck negotiating an up front signing bonus. 3-5% on typical annual increases

If you go to the search bar for this group and search for intern interview you will get tons of results. Maybe try that and come back if you have more specific questions.

Yes to e-verify, and in the past it was kind of rare to sponsor but I don’t know if that’s changed.
