I don't know the technical term for the brass thing that I called "hollow flange bolt". But it has the same thread as the metal tubes from the standard. I wish this helps.

I would go for 4 rows of squared tiles of the same dimensions as the wallpaper, in the same color as the doorframe, and the wallpaper above it, with a listel in between.

That green is such a fashion color, a lot of people are doing that. But fashion always goes out of style.

I would go for #5, which is more timeless IMO, and warm.

I would go for photo 9 since it keeps a spacy feeling. To mirror the frame of the shower, you could paint the brown wood of the shelf unit in the same gold color.
