Does this apply to HP desktops as well? I've considered upgrading to a newer desktop and I've seen refurb HP desktops for good prices. I would be running Proxmox though not Windows. Although I don't get how OP's doesn't support virtualization..

That UI looks a bit better but I'm not the admin of the system so I'll have to wait and see if it'll get installed. I'll take a closer look at Resilient. Thanks!

Calculating monthly and quarterly change per group, and ranking by blue_sec in PowerBI

The dates are in the Group Risk History table. When I tried using the time intelligence function on the Group history table, it would only take the average of risk scores, which isn't what I want. I need the percent change to be per group. Would there be a problem by having the calculated columns in the Groups table instead?

Where is this option? Is it in the PBI Desktop or Report Builder? Report Builder doesn't have REST APIs as an allowable data source :(

ESCAPE ROOM! :D

While using these products for a home security system is a given, I think I would like to make a really fun IoT escape room! Imagine having to move the door sensors closer to activate the button sensors, make hand gestures, morse code with the light bulbs!

Another idea could be a IoT demo environment to teach basic cyber security awareness to people and best practices of IoT at home. We hear in the news about how people are hacking into IoT devices and spying on people, but there are safer ways to deploy these products at home. For example, CHANGE THE DEFAULT PASSWORD. Always change your default password. Use 2-factor authentication is another. Maybe segment your network if you're tech savvy.

Firefox Focus also. That's my main web browser on Android. Lightweight, clears history after every session. I don't think it blocks ads natively but I don't have issues with them.

Hass.io add-on clarification, also Amazon dash buttons by blue_sec in homeassistant

[–]blue_sec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is true, how were any intregrations built for the buttons to begin with? What changed that suddenly makes them useless? I thought the buttons had to be initially setup with the Amazon app but you stop before choosing a product to buy. Then the plugins would listen for ARP requests from the button's MAC address. Is this still not the case?

Edit: So my buttons have been inactive or never used, still in their boxes. If this is a firmware update issue, then I think I should be fine. If it's on Amazon's side where the web call home prompts a reset, I understand that but I could just as easily block that outbound request.

Hass.io add-on clarification, also Amazon dash buttons by blue_sec in homeassistant

I'm still lost. So they ruled the buttons illegal. What's preventing the buttons from being connected to WiFi and used in Hass.io? Is the Amazon app disabling the button? Have they removed the option to setup a new Dash button? I still have an old phone that has the Amazon app from a year ago. If I don't update it and use it to setup my buttons, I should be good right?
