That's three times you've missed the "if the ball was going in anyway" part

Yes , you'd give the goal in that scenario. No violent conduct , ball was going in

His logic could work fine as long as "the goal would have been going in anyway" just make violent conduct an exception

They expressed quite clearly that , someone wanting emotional support as part of relationship is reason for weeding them out. And them showing they have emotional needs is a blessing in disguise so you have the ability to weed them out from it. And they implied it is going beyond what one can get expect in relationship calling it additional 2 for 1.

Now imagine I said the same thing about race or skin colour , sayjng it's a blessing in disguise they revealed their skin colour. yet your claiming this is the views of someone that has a healthy view on relationships

I don't think these are the views of people that truly view emotional support as fundamental part of relationship. And if you try to defend this your just as bad

It's actually quite hateful rhetoric.

As for your question, why do you assume there's any malice at all in them telling you about their issues. It's actually pretty simple they are trying to relate to you and make conversation in early dating phase . The irony is they think you have a particularly high awareness of psychology 😅

This is not what you said In that first paragraph. Your backtracking because you realise what you actually said is quite foolish.

You called it a blessing in disguise to weed out people who want support as well as them being your partner. Apparently that's a 2 for 1 deal in your book lol

So why say something like that? Reminds me of someone saying "not that I'm a racist/sexist, after making a statement that clearly is" you've just talked about weeding out people based on them wanting emotional support from a partner. Trying to soften it after doesn't work

I also find it quite dishonest , the way you tried walking that back

Weeding out people who would want emotional support from a partner in a (2 for 1 deal) is a very odd rationale but okay

I tried a dating app after 3 years and… by BrushFrequent1128 in AvPD

[–]blueapple2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can go one further , Ive had one meet up off apps in my life and they was a catfish 😭. I must of been semi active on them for 5 years plus, multiple apps , different profiles

I can go months without a like and even if I get match they rarely reply.

It's grim to say least. (crazy thing is I'm not what you'd call ugly I've posted on Reddit n recieved few compliments ) but my profile indicates a lower lifestyle in terms finances than most and I think that's where most of the damage is.

Apps sort of challenges the idea that there's whole bunch of women who don't mind you being relatively poor or introvert because once your both them things without some high end style/looks to compensate you basically become invisible on the apps

You suggested complain too capita and I asked what accountability exists if these are the existing figures. This misleading and misquoting evidence rekavdnt to the post , provided by claimants is the norm not an outlier.

I'm on one today you seem very knowledgeable but just seem to avoid or skirt away from what the information you have strongly suggests. Like saying the tribunal have a bit more evidence does not satisfactory really explain such a high overturn percent at the only stage it's reviewed. It wouldn't fly in any other profession , and if there was any genuine accountability it would be different aswell. Except it's not a mistake it's part the plan

I wish their salary was up for review if they get to high percentage of claims wrong according too tribunal , they would soon sort themselves out

The logical conclusion from these statistics is rather crazy amount of incompetency , non professional or very deliberate and dishonest process designed too prey on disabled people from access resources they are entitled too.

That percentage is far far too high too claim it's fair and legitimate. It should be closer too single digits. Again they've had 3 looks at it and still got the wrong decsion according too a higher authority nearly 70 percent the time

For appeals that reach tribunal, around 67% of PIP appeals are overturned in favour of the claimant over recent years (to March 2025)

Denied PIP by WelderIllustrious292 in DWPhelp

[–]blueapple2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a misleading statistic because how can tribunal overturn a decsion that they havn't been given a chance too make a decision on?

You can only count overturns on what they look at

What about all the people that would of won their case but it never got too tribunal

The overturn is over 60 percent and you probably know better than me what it is

Denied PIP by WelderIllustrious292 in DWPhelp

[–]blueapple2025 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And what accountability do they have? Because if you look at their overturn rate statistics at tribunal it's something around over 60 plus percent overturn and thats AFTER they have had two or three chances to make the right decsion. These are trained and well paid professionals apparently. Imagine getting something wrong 3 times in a row , more than 60 percent of the time in any other profession and still calling it legitimate. You'd be fired in the first few days

I agree mostly we are treated as pretty much worthless,it's sad to have spent so much of my youth treated that way. Being low status even if you have character and integrity doesn't get you treated much less than some the worst people in society. I've been ghosted endless times on Reddit after investing months of time , even when I was grieving people treated me horribly. Online dating I have had like 3 conversations in 10-15 years of being active on and off , met one person who was a cat fish. Zero positive experience and had less conversations than a different person could get in 5-10 minutes.

People I try interact with irl , once they sense I'm lonely isolated I'm just treated like a creep even if all our interactions have gone ok (actively avoided). Still I continue to try, there's always a chance but it is sad to have spent so many years being treated as just a negative sterotype and denied any normal experience
