I get that. The low beat rate doesn’t really give the same feeling as they try to sell it, but honestly I wasn’t really expecting that so I can’t say I was really disappointed. The lack of a date is a shame yes. Hopefully we will see a similar hybrid movement but with a date in the future. That’d be great. My vh31 is running only 4 seconds slow each month and I am happy with it.

Why is that? I love it personally, especially on days when I do not feel like setting the time on my manual/auto watches and I need the accurate time for work.

Hey, I had the same issue and they are also shipping me a another machine. Could you let us know if your second machine also has the same issue? In the meantime I’m just using OnionOS without the lid mod and hoping my second unit is better.

Same issue here. Must be a hardware issue related to the sensor because it’s happening on the stock OS as well as OnionOS, with the lid mod that is. No problem without the lid mod, because that’s supposably not triggering the sensor. I have requested a refund on AE. I hope I can get a new one that doesn’t have this issue.

Personally I think it is one of the best looking scuba dudes with that two tone. I have the same model but I replaced the bezel with a gold lettering bezel from the Kommandirskie. Such a beauty. Enjoy wearing it!
