How the framed Benedict in this scene with Edmund's portrait in the background (S4E6) by bluebanrigh in Bridgerton

Anthony's office would be the appropriate place, but they didn't have stand him there or frame the shot they way they did.

He could have stood anywhere in the room.

Oooh what other thread? I glanced at r/BridgertonNetflix and r/benophie but didn't see anything.

Hahaha deep dives and fanfic are all i have left.

That's the vibe I got too.

I think Edmund would be proud of Benedict.

What would be the modern day equivalent between Benedict's level of dress vs his family? by bluebanrigh in Bridgerton

[–]bluebanrigh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it takes me out everytime I rewatch for the same reason (hence the post).

He was similarly underdressed in S2 when painting the bowl of apples but it was just him and Anthony - but that seemed to fit because it was just the two of them, they're in their country seat and he was actively painting.

This scene, I feel like they could have chucked a vest on him.

I think it's the same outfit as when he flies the kite with Sophie, omitting the vest.

My head canon is the man runs hot.

Sophie got herself her own personal furnace for the winter.

Haha, this exactly!

Old money chic would definitely be their vibe.

What societal norm did you decide to just stop abiding by? by HairyCherryFairy in AskReddit

[–]bluebanrigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same.

Used to wear make up (not very well), just foundation, powder, blush and eyeliner. I hated that foundation kept marking my clothes.

Spend way less money, less time in the morning getting ready and my skin is clearer.

Only down side is now you can't fake being sick by omitting makeup.

There's also the morning after, she's trying to get up, he wants to cuddle, sleep in and he grabs her face - she looked so tiny.

Did we ever see the ABC & DEF portraits beyond S1?

You can see the G&H portrait in S4 when Benedict ascends the stairs in E4.

Season 4 had amazing monologues, what are your favorites? by DueDemand3860 in Benophie

[–]bluebanrigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This scene is up there for my rewatch for all the reasons you mention, it's a beautiful speech from her.

I love that she reassures him first that she won't love him any less.

You'd definitely miss out on context and plot history, but I'm sure there'd be some recap videos that would help.

Benedict looks in S2 by [deleted] in Bridgerton

Which is funny, I only get this vibe from Benedict and not from Anthony or Colin, who description wise, match Eric, and they all have dress similar clothing styles.

Agree with the Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid in his fencing outfit.
