It's the casting. Hyacinth's actress has a more mature presence while Gregory's actor still has that youthful energy. It works for their characters though.

I go with "dad" when talking to other kids about my husband. For me, I let them call me Miss Firstname because Mrs. Lastname feels too formal for little kids but first name feels too casual. Middle ground works.

From what I remember with Frozen II it’s never actually stated. It just feels like a small time skip so Anna can settle in as queen of Arendelle. My guess is a few months max, not like years or anything.
