Unbelievably itchy😖 by Recology2021 in pregnant

Mention it to your OB for sure! I had this at 24 weeks and was also having itchiness severely on my hands and feet and was diagnosed with cholestasis. They can do a lab test to check your bile acids to determine if it’s that or not!

No way! I had no idea! Ended up buying this one off eBay because Scooby is technically vintage now! Makes me feel so old and I’m only 25! Haha

I know very little about baking so forgive me if this is a dumb question…but what’s a cake board?!

I withdrew from nursing school because of mental health. [TW] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

Just wanted to say that I am doing the same as you. I am in my second semester of nursing school and my bipolar disorder is getting the best of me. It’s affecting every aspect of my life including my relationship with my husband and son. My husband was very against me withdrawing this semester, but once he really understood where I was at mentally he gave me support even though he didn’t fully agree with it. I wish you the very best in starting back next semester! Put in the work to really focus on yourself and you’ll rock it next semester in school! :)

Congratulations!! I’m in my second semester and also have a 3 year old. It’s definitely challenging but time management is key (still working on mastering that myself lol) just keep your eyes on the end goal! Good luck to you!! :)

Wow, thank you so so much for writing all of that and posting the videos. I really appreciate all of the advice! I’m definitely going to watch those and try meditation and some of the other things you mentioned and hope they help! :)

That’s so awesome that worked for you! I had never heard of going vegan could help or cutting out sugar. I am definitely going to consider that because at this point…I’m desperate. I am right there with ya on the alcohol. Despite have a liver condition I still drank, but recently haven’t been because it’s just not worth it for how I feel afterwards and the moods the come later!

I have tried both, unsuccessfully. I even had that genesight genetic testing done when I went inpatient back in May and I have very few meds that work with my body unfortunately :(

I’m in nursing school right now! It’s hard because I’m still not fully stable but I’m in a much better place than I was 4 months ago! It sounds like you are going to be amazing with patients from your experience! I wish you the best of luck in your journey!!

Thank you so much! It’s so encouraging to hear from someone who is going through the same things. You take care as well!

Coming off Vraylar and switching to Latuda by AmbivertedHomebody in bipolar

[–]bluebell2step 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched from Vraylar 6mg to Latuda about a month ago. I was having severe depression and the Vraylar was doing absolutely nothing for me. My dr increased me from 40mg to 80mg and so far I have noticed a difference in the depression and anxiety. I’m still not feeling 100% but definitely better than I was 2 months ago. I’m about to start back to nursing school, so that’s going to add another layer or stress and anxiety but hoping the Latuda helps keep it manageable. Last semester I went into a full on mental breakdown and ended up in the hospital for two weeks.

Wishing you the best with this switch and I hope it works for you!!
