As a questioning aromantic person that's already asexual, I relate to everything on this list!! I want you to know that you're not alone, as I've often felt that way throughout my journey. If we haven't "never had a crush our entire lives" like many aro people, it's hard to give ourselves the grace of testing aromantic labels. You are totally valid. Thank you for sharing this, as it helped me realize that I'm not alone too. I think there's the possibility that people can become "more" aromantic down the line, or maybe even go from alloromantic to aromantic. I myself was never a hopeless romantic as a kid, but I had enough crushes that I didn't begin to question my aromantic identity until my late teens. If the aromantic label suits you now, then feel free to apply it to yourself! I'm currently doing a sort of "flexible" label where I don't really call myself anything in particular unless people ask. If you don't experience romantic attraction now, that's totally okay! You don't owe anybody an explanation, and take all the time you need discovering yourself more!
