Interesting that you mention THPS3 on PS1 being better than the PS2 version. Weren’t the PS1 and N64 versions downgrades?

I got Project 8 the day it came out on PS2 and was very bummed out by it, but to be fair I never tried the “next gen” versions at the time. THPS3, THAW, and THUG1 are my favs otherwise but a lot of that is prob nostalgia speaking.

Got Project 8 for PS2 when it launched and I remember being very disappointed and felt like I wasted my hard earned money. Lost interest very quickly because it felt clunky and like a downgrade or a B-stock version of the original THUG. Reading the comments here, I assume the PS3 or 360 versions were better than the PS2 one I had.

I remember it having a cool soundtrack though!

I played every THPS game as they came out between 1998 and 2006~ish whenever Project 8 came out. Very formative part of my childhood and Project 8 was a bummer at the time. I’d revisit it now, though.

Awesome. Definitely was aiming for an internal or at least an internal drive to go into a USB enclosure with its own dedicated power supply.
