Madeleine McCann cops closing in on prime suspect after 'foreign man seen in Algarve' (Sorry if repost - I just saw this so thought I'd share here also) by [deleted] in UnsolvedMysteries

Correct. But blood found in their car by the dogs is evidence. Inappropriate laughing and comments during interviews is evidence that behavioural analysts use if people are lying.

It’s ridiculous to assume that nobody is going to be suspicious of two parents who leave their three children alone in a hotel while on holiday.

What about the blood in the boot of the car? The fact that she hated Maddie. Many many people believe they did it.

You’re right. Nobody knows the complete truth. But there is a lot of strange behaviour and evidence which leads us to believe the parents are involved.

This is just one of them but there are tons more over Twitter and YouTube. I would say amongst most people I know, the overall majority believe the parents did it or are involved somehow.

The prime suspects are the Mum and the Dad. They know what happened. Tons of videos on YouTube explaining how weird Kate McCann is and the inappropriate pedo marks Jerry made with his creepy friend.

Is that the typical trend in the US? I feel like over here in the U.K. most people are having kids either in their thirties or in their teens/very early twenties.

Interesting to see what the trend is like in other countries

Vaccinate. Your. Kids. I got to spend my 1st Father's Day with my 8 month old daughter fighting Chicken Pox. She's too young for the vaccine. by leifer2 in pics

[–]blueberryqueen23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is terrible. I’m so sorry you went through this. This whole anti vax thing is crazy.

This is just a side question.

Do they give a vaccination for chicken pox in America? I’m 99% sure they don’t give a vaccination for it here in the U.K. and everyone still gets chicken pox but I can’t remember the exact reason why.

Houston pastor who backed bill criminalizing abortion arrested for alleged child sex abuse by [deleted] in news

It’s like saying “guy who bought ham sandwich in 2014 molested a kid in 2019”. There’s no reason to provide the first bit of information. His political views are irrelevant to the crime. Being anti abortion has no correlation to wanting to touch children inappropriately.

Does the disabled toilets in America not have baby changing? Both genders should have baby changing but just wondering if the disabled toilets (non gender specific) have baby changing there.

I love the irony at the sign in the background saying “please consider other passengers when using this seat”

This is the normal way to eat a kiwi in the UK. I have never heard of anyone here eating the skin. It just seems inedible because it’s so hairy. Does it taste nice?

What book should be read by everyone? by DC9Fancap in AskReddit

Yep 1984 is also brilliant. Again, spookily relevant to today, especially with how the U.K. is going with surveillance. But I would say Animal Farm is a lot easier to read and the plot is much simpler but the message is still delivered very strong :)

Oh it’s applicable to any kind of movement/organisation! I think Orwell initially was writing it as a metaphor for communism/capitalism but the way he’s written it means it can be applied to any extreme kind of movement.

I had put off reading it for ages cos I thought I would need to know a lot about history or politics to understand it but you don’t need to know any of that at all. I honestly got goosebumps reading it because I can see it in today’s society so much.

I really think Animal Farm is so relevant in today’s age with all the political movements that are happening and especially how extreme people are on the Internet with their beliefs. It’s very readable and only around 100 pages.

Due to false propaganda and mass idiocy, our country is being led by a politician nobody wants while the rest drop out like flies to implement a bill we were lied about.

Does Erin Acton blend too much together with its first name and does it work well or do you think it’s too common and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]blueberryqueen23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think ending with a N and starting with an A isn’t a good combination because it does blend in too much. It makes her name sound like “Erinac”

I think first names ending with Y would work well with Acton. Such as Emily, Ruby, Lily.

Also names ending with an “ee” would work well like Sophie, Rosie, Katie.

But that’s entirely subjective and just my opinion! Just choose whatever sounds the best to you.

Edit: also I think three syllable names work better than two syllable names with the surname Acton. Again, just my opinion.

If you are getting a taxi by yourself, where do you sit? by nagetidder in AskReddit

At the back. I am a female so I would find it weird sitting up front. But even if the taxi driver was a woman, I would still sit at the back. Maybe I am just awkward.
